We are very happy with the appearance and sturdiness of the set. It came in 4 boxes, and I put it together myself in 3.5-4 hours (I am 72). I took my time to make sure I didn’t have to redo things (still had to on one part once); and because it is not cheap. We could have gotten something cheaper, but know you do get what you pay for when items are new, and wanted something that we could use for some years. This seems to qualify. It is not hard to put together, but the the instructions are all pictures, no written directions, just labeling parts, so make sure to look carefully at the pics for proper orientation of parts. The order of construction worked well. I have put together (and built), many items through the years. This is one of the best designed I have experienced. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

I love this dining nook. I bought it because it matches my desk that I bought 10 years ago and wanted to match it (pictured). Arrived in four cartons, slightly beat up, but the furniture itself was not damaged and was packaged so well inside the cartons. Not one scratch! Very sturdy and well made. I have assembled so much stuff over the years and I will say, this was super easy! I find it sits 6 people ok: 2 on the bench, one on the short side and 2 on the long side and I added a chair to the end for a sixth person. The table itself is on the smaller side but fits four placemats. I used a tablecloth with guests so everyone's plate fit fine. Just measure before you buy so you won't be expecting something larger than what the ad states. Also, be aware that if you want to add cushions you will have to have them custom made, as the cushion sets available are too big for this particular set. Not sure how this would work for a family of five or six on a daily basis, but it's perfect for my three person family and I love it!

First off I'm not a fan of the price, it's a little steep considering the other products like it are half the price. However, I do feel that it's a little better quality. More than the options half price yes, but quality to justify the price? No.It's not real wood, as far as I can tell, but I'm not an expert. I do know that with the small damage in the corners and edges that are out of sight it's not the same as some wood furniture you might be familiar with, it's not that particle board though.It doesn't take up a lot of space but it's not small either. It's almost six feet across when you face the long side, and a little over four feet on the smaller side. If you are taller that 5'10 it might not be tall enough for you.It's not too hard to assemble, the pictures and instructions aren't that great, but if you've put furniture together before and do it correctly, it will not be hard, just time consuming.It looks nice, the small damage on mine is on the back so you can't see it, and I've received compliments on the look of it. It's still new, only about two weeks as of this post, and functions just fine. When you lift up the seats to access the storage under them, be mindful of the bolts that protrude into the storage space.

This is a very heavy and high quality piece of furniture. Be ready - it arrived in four large boxes on a pallet! My husband assemble the table in less than an hour and the bench in less time than that. The three piece L shape took about an hour and a half. This set is sturdy, really sturdy. We had folks totalling a bit over 600 lbs sitting on the bench for dinner and there was no wobbling at all. The finish of the wood looks so natural - no high gloss shine - just a warm glow. Our guests were so impressed they are thinking about getting one for their house.

The table set is beautiful and quite heavy. However, the veneer on the table is bulging and lifting after less than 6 months of gentle use. It is pressed paper board under the veneer. Do not get the table wet at all. If I had known to expect this outcome, I would have tried to waterproof it better with a few layers of schellac before using it because I planned for this kitchen nook to be a permanent fixture in my kitchen. I messaged the seller and they don't seem to plan to do anything about the issue. I will probably try to find a solid-wood replacement tabletop.

Easy to put together (aside from dropping the Allen wrench 85 times). Quality hard wood, no missing parts, color of table matched the picture.

This is a very small table. Space on the table top only big enough for 4 placemats. I really regret buying this table. It arrived cracked in multiple places, but the packaging was flawless. And still cracked after assembly. The longest measurement is for the long bench, not the table itself. If you're looking for a decent table with decent eating space, I highly recommend to look elsewhere. All in all, I don't recommend buying this table, only if your single with no other family and like wasting your money on something you're going to replace almost right away.
