Duracell SafeJump 1100A Li-Ion Jump Starter

Bought this as it's a name brand rather than going for a chinese made as i thought it would be better quality. It was definitley worth it for the higher price.It's amazingly simple to use, you just clip it on to the battery and the green light tells you it's ready to go. I have used it countless times already and it's helped my car to start first time, every time. So far i must have used it 11 times and it's still on 4/5 bars. the leaflet says it will hold the charge for 1 year which makes it especially useful to keep in the car for emergencies.It has the option to plug a usb into it to use as a phone charger too so this double use makes especially emergency useful.the light built in is suffieciently bright and the cables that come with it are nice and short so the whole thing can compact away into the glovebox.I predict i will be glad i bought this for years to come

Rating was 3 stars when I bought it. My car has a START button, no key turning involved. Never tried to start it for more than 2 seconds, had to wiggle cables a few times - make the clamp bite better, try again and worked in the end, 3rd or 4th time.Initial review: Used it to start my 1.6L petrol engine once and it worked. The supplied USB cable came faulty so that says a lot about the overall quality of this product and had to use another cable to charge it. Looks a little cheap but it did start my car once when the car battery was quite low. Doesn't have an override function so in case the car battery is dead it won't try to start due to the safety feature. Others have said that it worked once or twice and then it stopped working so I'll have to update the review in the future (or if it works more than 5 times). After I started my car, the battery level on this was still showing 100% but I charged again anyway as per instructions and it took like close to an hour to fully charge so I'm guessing the level could have been at around 80 percent.Update: Today was the 3rd time when I used this and it worked... takes some cable wiggling but it did the job. Not sure if I should increase my rating to 4 stars, so will update in the future.Update 2: Today was the fifth time I used this. It was freezing outside and the car wouldn't start, dashboard lights would die immediately. Had to wiggle cables and try like four times but worked in the end. The jump starter was not frozen as I had it in my back pack, not sure what would have happened if it would have stayed in the car over night, I was thinking about it and guessed I would have sat on it like a hen for 5 minutes :)). Also got a new car battery installed today so hopefully I won't be using this unless I forget the lights on. Raised the rating from 3 stars to 4 stars but I guess it's more like 4.5 stars. Not sure what will happen if it's not used for a long time, I'll try to update.

Not used yet but much better than the previous one I had which died on me. Hopefully this will last with it been Duracell brand

I've only used it once and it started my van first time with a nearly flat battery. It's got a very bright torch with 3 settings and a USB to charge devices. I can't comment on longevity but everything else is good.

I’ve got a sports car that rarely gets used so the battery tends to go flat sometimes. I always forget to remove the battery leg. Anyway, this fires it up no problem. I got it to replace the previous Silverline booster pack which stopped accepting the charge. It’s safe and easy to use. Doesn’t spark or anything and the light is very bright. Excellent build quality.The best one I could find. Highly recommended.

I think I left the interior light on. When I was going to take the car for its test it wouldn't start. it just clicked. I tried a battery charger for hours with no luck. My neighbour has a big battery and jump leads and we got the car started so I could drive to buy a new battery. That's why I bought this, so I wouldn't have to hope my neighbour was at home if it happened again!
