I love this hammock, there is so much room in it. I love laying in it a summers day with a book. It is sturdy. I didn’t use the attached ties, I use straps and calipers to hang mine.

I had bought a stand hammock off Amazon a couple years ago. The stand is in great condition but the original hammock itself ripped so I bought this to replace it, and I personally like this way better than the original hammock that came with the stand!

I'm 6'1" and should have paid a little more attention to the fabric dimensions than the overall length of the hammock. The length referred to the distance from the attachment points end to end. That being said I still fit the hammock fabric it runs from the tip of my head right to my feet. The width works very well, however I could not call this a double hammock as I am 220lbs and nothing more than a baby would fit with me. Two kids seem to fit just fine. I bought this to replace a bed in my small apartment and after two nights I am doing just fine. I like the fabric as it does keep a bit of the chill off my bottom side compared to a nylon parachute style hammock. The ropes and fabric have held up well and I have been pleasantly pleased. The colors were just as advertised and it came with two ropes for attaching to trees. In my case I use a hammock stand and due to the distance between the attachment points I use the cords to secure the hammock in place. They have a little stretch but not much and it seems to be holding my weight. I found other hammocks of a similar style in the big box stores but the width has been way to small. This one has been pleasantly comfortable. It does hug a little around my body but I'm ok with that. I stay in place where in the parachute style nylon I tended to slide to the bottom and end up in a ball when I sleep on my side.

This hammock is soft, sturdy, well made and durable, I absolutely love this hammock. I have this tied to trees, I have rope extensions for my hammock set up, I would recommend doing this. The hammock is a little bit short but after it hangs for a few days it relaxes and settled into the perfect size. My husband is 6’3 230 and lays in this comfortably

I'm very happy with this hammock. It's solidly constructed, nice thick knots on either end! It also is just the right size to fit two adults. We hung it up indoors on our screened in porch and it's extremely comfortable. Shipping was quick and it came in this cute little bag. Love the green and blue colors, definitely a good value for the price point. 👌 extremely satisfied with my purchase!!!

Update: After initially being disappointed and planning on returning this (read below) I gave it more time and changed my mind. I ended up keeping this one AND buying an entire second set of hammock+stand (the most affordable way to get the replacement I was looking for). I set this up on the old stand as well as I could, on the off chance that with some use it would stretch in a way that made it work better. And it did! Once the hammock part itself stretched out a little, the dimensions made more sense. It still doesn’t seem quite as strong/durable as the heavier canvas one I was trying to replace, but it’s great as a secondary hammock. (Now I have one in the yard and one on the deck!)Original: Wish I’d read the reviews carefully before purchasing. As others have said, while the size of the hammock bed is fine, the ropes are too short for a standard hammock frame (like mine). I did get it to fit with the hooks at the highest setting, barely, and then tried the hammock out for about 15 minutes to see how it felt.The first thing I noticed (after the surprisingly short overall length) is that the material is much stretchier than my previous hammock’s, which was canvas. This may be why the hammock is shorter - even stretched taut across the hammock frame when I got in, it immediately sank pretty low with me in it. If it had started out any lower I would have hit the ground. It seemed like it would quickly stretch and likely start to fray - it’s just a looser weave than I think you need for a hammock.Aside from the stretchiness, I liked the fabric. It looked good - beachy and brightly colored - and was softer than canvas. You can kind of cocoon yourself if you want, because it’s so wide, and it’s comfortable to move around/adjust position in.My misgivings led me to the reviews saying it frayed or broke where the fabric meets the strings/ropes, and upon looking there more closely, I saw what they meant. This thing probably won’t last.This might work best for people using it occasionally and hanging it from trees or higher hooks. Not for regular use, stands, or (as others have said) 2 people.

Cotton and comfortable! Durable construction and easy to secure.

This is not a double hammock. The ties on the hammock are not long enough and they have given you rope to use. This is a terrible hammock. Returning ti.
