Epic fail.The blades chip easily but I can except that as my fault but the blade breaking from the handle during normal use is not excusable!

The media could not be loaded. The display case included with the knives is a quality piece. The knives themselves are very ergonomic, sharp and a perfect to use! Best by far in sharpness and overall build quality for the money!

Was really hoping to love these knives, but unfortunately found them below average. Packaging and aesthetics are great, but the actual blades are a little thicker than my other ceramics (kyocera) as well as my other blades (shun). The blade being thicker makes different cutting movements feel more obtuse, almost like driving a large floaty SUV compared with a precise compact sports car. With their blade design, I also found cut food to stick more to the blade, requiring me to manually unstick it from the blade. Sharpness was average, definitely less sharp than my Kyoceras were out of the gate and nowhere near my shun. My greatest disappointment comes from how quickly the blade appears to lose sharpness. I take great care of my knives and with pretty minimal use I found the blades to start losing edge. My kyoceras held respectable edges for 1-2 years with careful care and my shun blade is still the sharpest blade I own despite no grinding for the 4 years of ownership. Will keep using the blades as long as they go but don’t have a good feeling.I also found the Santoku blade to be very difficult to use given how short the blade is (height). So short that you end up mashing your knuckles on your cutting board. If you are searching for a useable santoku I think the company offers one with more height in another package.

I bought a set if these knives in May of 2017. They were sharp in the beginning. I had to sharpen them 6 months after I got them. They quality is okay, really good for the price. They only thing that really disappointed me was Thanksgiving of 2018 when I was carving the Turkey and was cutting between the joints and the tip broke off. Now the knife is less efficient. I can still use it to but I dont as much as the smaller ones.

I was skeptical about porcelain knives due to their propensity to break if dropped, etc., but now I don't know how I cooked without these things. Super sharp, so reduces the risk of cuts from dull blades that slip, and gives a wonderful, clean cut. Wipes off easily. Yes, they can't be banged around like metal knives, but not having browned fruits and veggies and using these lightweight knives is a big plus for me!

Nice knives. Beautiful. Well balanced. First time buying ceramic.

Perfect for my intended use - general slicing and dicing in the kitchen.
