Slat Depot Single Wall Bottom Locking Privacy Slat for 3', 4', 5', 6', 7' and 8' Chain Link Fence (4ft, Redwood)

I'm so happy with this product so far. I installed the slats about 2 months ago. The seller kindly answered a question I had about the gauge of my fence, which is size 8. You can see the full answer in the Q&A section on the listing, but I didn't have any problem installing these even with a size larger wire gauge than the listing calls for. I even installed them on what was one of the hottest and most humid days of the year here.I wanted these for some privacy while the bushes I planted grow to maturity. We live on a corner and I also wanted more of a buffer between my German Shepherd and small kids walking by. This has helped with both.The slats are thin, but I don't think they're flimsy, though I will have to update this review after a year or so after seeing how they do through the winter. At the time of my order, Amazon was selling these slats for the best price I could find online. I'm very happy with the purchase.

My existing 6' chain link fence is not perfectly straight. The mesh has bends and kinks in it. I am a 50+ y/o woman, 5'8" with early arthritis in my hands. This project was a snap! It only took me a couple hours to cover two sections of fence that face the street (with initial assistance to place the guide channel at the bottom) to shield an area where we sit around our firepit. Once I got the slat started at the top, I simply used my foot to guide it thru any rough spots, and it snapped into the bottom perfectly. No bending or stooping. I like it so much, it makes me want to do more! You can still see thru the slats outward if you need to, but from the road, you can't tell what is going on behind them. Exactly the purpose!I bought the sand-beige color and it matches my siding well. Good purchase, was delivered promptly and well packaged. No complaints.

I have a chain link fence and wanted to use the slats to simulate a metal fence. The cost of a metal vertical fence is very expensive so I bought some slats to try. I did not use them for privacy concerns. They slotted through the chain link fence very easily and I placed them around 4” apart. See photograph. I am happy with the result.

This product is easy to install and gives some basic privacy. This is not something that will give total privacy but gives enough. You will need to add plantings if you need more privacy or get another product. We live in South Florida so needed something that would allow wind to pass through. We replaced a wood fence with chain link and then added these slats. What a great look it gives the fence!!!

We were looking for a solution to help keep down the visual distractions for the dogs in the yard and this was one of our potential solutions. I installed it in a couple days (its so darn HOT I had to break it up). Our fence is over 40 years old so its not straight or level and it is wonky in some places. I chose to install with the locking guard at the top in some areas and that worked well - its a bit harder to weave the slats but they still lock in great. We choose to go with two colors to match with trims on our house, and it looks great! We are installing about 100Ft more as we are so happy with this solution. Its not a 100% visual block, what really would be, but its more than enough to keep stray dogs from exciting our dogs when they are in the yard. We also really like the look, its really nice.

We installed about 70 feet of the tan slats. The slats were easy to install and fit great. We installed to provide some privacy between us and our neighbor. Added benefit is it provides a nice looking back-drop for our landscaping as well. Hopefully will cut down on some of the dirt and weed seeds that blow into our rocks.Highly recommend this product and supplier. Packaging was great as well.

Easy to install after you get the first slat installed as a guide. I did use the bottom channel to keep the bottom aligned. The plastic flexes a bit so I was able to install 15 feet in about an hour. The tops did not align perfectly so I just used a straightedge and marker to make a flat line and then used sharp garden scissors to cut the tops to make a flat line.Time will tell how long the slats last but for now, it looks good and blocks the view into and out of my back yard. The dog can not easily see out so he barks less.An inexpensive fix.

These slats are very easy to install and look really nice. I didn't use the locking channels because my fence is kind of jagged and uneven at the bottom making it hard to slide the locking channel into. I got two packets in two different colors so I had enough slats to put two channels behind one another and then slide it into the fence making it thicker and less likely to slide down. All I always, I'm very satisfied with this.

We really like the silver color as the galvanized fence was silver and it all matches...they are great for privacy...I'd say about 98%....AND it's attractive too. My husband said they were easy to slide in and he liked the finished product also.

I bought 3-inch white slats. They are thin and flexible. Installation is simple and easy for 3 inches. However, some double-layer slat may happen due to its static electric. Watch out for it. The Viper channel installed horizontally at the bottom help to secure the slats in straight line and make them look very nice. Good design!I have missing slats in 2 of the 4 boxes I bought. If your required fence measurement is exact, this can be a major problem.

Is a good product. Looks good, and the horizontal slat on the bottom keeps everything looking neat and even. It still provides a little bit of air flow through the fence, which is nice. It is rather hard to snap in the slats into the bottom piece. It is quite tedious.

Arrived before due date. Item was of good quality and matched exactly a previous installed portion of fencing on our property. Would recommend.
