My bird loved the box, but she hated everything else, including the nesting material. She threw it all out and just made her own out of the newspaper at the bottom of her cage.

I like the construction but I think maybe a design with the hinge on the side would be better. The space is tighter once installed and harder to reach in if necessary. Otherwise, my parakeets did fine hatching their first chick.

My birds chewed it up quickly. Don’t buy.
