This is a nice little waffle iron. The waffles cook well in it. It cleans up easily and stores easily because of it’s size.

I've noticed the "chaffle" movement using the Dash and decided to hop on board. IT'S PERFECT! I have used it at least four times and am looking forward to all the things I'm going to create. My only issue is the top gets a little hot. Note to self, just don't touch the top. Pretty easy to clean.

This is exactly what I intended to buy and I like the brush. I’m glad I got that because it really does help clean it out when you need to.

I recently made the decision to lose weight, so smaller portions for me! I use a whole wheat protein waffle mix and absolutely no problems. I have sprayed it before heating, and it cleans up easily. It's only really dirty around the edges where the spray doesn't get used up with the batter. Never have to spray it more than one time each use. I may try not spraying it the next time and see how it does. I do like that it came with a cleaning brush to get it more clean. This device heats up within one minute and cooks each waffle in 3 minutes. You could go longer to get the waffle darker and it still wouldn't be burnt. I may just purchase more Dash products in the future!

So I have been through several DASH mini waffle makers in the past two years but this is my second DASH Deluxe model. With the first one, the top plate started “scorching” by the third use and became so bad that despite using nonstick spray as well as cleaning it well after each use, the scorch mark would not come off and then everything started sticking to it. It then stopped working in the middle of cooking, not even 3 weeks after I got it. Well this one started scorching after about my 9th use and things are starting to stick again. Mind you, THIS IS JUST THE TOP PLATE. The bottom plate is fine. I’m just waiting for it to die on me now.

It works for making Chaffles which is why I bought it.Wear oven gloves when using as device is very light weight and will move when you try to open the lid. I am not comfortable using it on a non-fireproof surface as it does get very hot and is light enough to move easily if touched.It's not really that easy to clean well. Let device cool completely before trying to clean it to avoid burning yourself. Next time I would purchase a slightly larger/heavier device to ensure it won't/can't suddenly shift position if/when touched while operating.

This is a cute little product that makes small waffles. Great for children.
