I bought this to replace a battery operated hedge-clipper from another manufacturer that had given good service over many years, but whose rechargeable batteries were now storing less and less charge.With regards to weight, I think the new clipper is slightly heavier than the old one, but then the batteries were lighter, so overall there was no real noticeable change.A major factor in this purchase was the fact that it came complete with two batteries and a recharger.I was pleased to see that the charger had a red and green light to indicate when the charge was complete, my old one lacked that feature, and you had to pretty much guess how well it charged by the time you left it in. So that was a major plus.I had a couple of hesitant tests to slide the batteries into the charger, and on to the clipper, but happily found it easy to do.On the safety side, this clipper has an extra safety feature that my old one lacked. Whilst my previous clipper would not function until you had both hands on the machine, and well away from the moving parts, this clipper has an addition button that must be compressed by your hand the holds the trigger. Initially, I had to get used to it, but soon found it did not cause me any difficulty, and it reinforces safety, as you cannot operate the clipper unless both hands are safely on it.After delivery, I put the batteries on charge, and was pleased to find they went from red, (charging), to green (ready). Within 20 minutes, although whether there was an initial charge in the batteries I could not say.Operationally, I found it very effective, a far better cutter, (the blades being new), and after cutting two decent sized hedges, found I still had plenty of charge left in the first battery, and I did not need to use the second.The only slight drawback was the sheathe that covers the blades. My old one was quite rigid, and easily slid over the blades, this one is slightly more flexible, and requires a little more jiggling to get it on.Overall, very happy with my purchase, and I hope to get as many years out of it as my old one.If you are looking for a cordless clipper with two batteries, and no hassle, I am happy to recommend this to you.

Arrived on time. I have only used it once. It's easy to use, light enough. It works fine on very thin/soft material, but not so good on thicker stuff. If I remember I think in the description section it said it will cut up to 10mm, if it does it does it and no more. At the end of the day it does do what I bought it for.

I am a 66 year old, a woman, a brilliant machine light weight and the batteries last an hour and, and very safe to use… 👍

Never used one of these before so only did a test. cut what I wanted no problem at. You only get one battery were is says you get two I did not charge The battery for the test. So at the monents happy with it.

The media could not be loaded.  A budget friendly cordless hedge trimmer which can cut 10mm branches easily. At 2.6kg (with battery) I can work with on ladder with ease, battery fully charged around 1h and lasted around 25 minutes non stop. Comes with 2x lithium 20V batteries so you can swap over when one is empty.Nice grip for both left and right handed person, 2 safety switch at each handle bar with nice click when pressed down. The blade is nice and sharp and it should stay that way unless I accidently cut stones by mistake.It is a no frills hedge trimmer which comes with 2 batteries and charger, I wish there is a battery indicator to tell how much battery will last etc. Other than that it works as it should out of the box.

Arrived on time - great size and weight for me as I find most hedge trimmer’s too heavy ! Very disappointed that there’s only ONE rechargeable battery included as when ordering product I understood there was TWO plus comments in Q&A confirmed this was the case .

Not bad for the money

On inspection from opening the box the strimmer looked good and sturdy.I was surprised how light weight it wasThe battery took around an hour to charge.I began to start trimming hedges and 20mins into it the handle cracked.This caused the strimmer to stop working.It cuts great but the cheap plastic let's it downI won't be buying this product again.
