Bought this 2 days before an acoustic gig. 1 day shipping, 30 min installation(I'm a novice guitar builder, so I have a ton of experience) and it looks and sounds exactly like I wanted. If you are looking for the traditional peizo sound this isn't for you. It doenst pick up bumps and clicks from your acoustic. I play leads so its perfect. Title says humbucking pickup but I'm pretty sure it's a single coil. Totally fine. I play reggae. It was well worth it. This pickup will stay in my acoustic.

Works fine, but sounds very electric.
The pickup seemed well built and functioned flawlessly as it should. Tone and volume knobs were fairly easy to access. I like the option to mount the jack in the end-pin hole. (I didn't do) The two set screws keep it securely in place. However, I didn't like the tone I was getting from it. It had a very electric tone. This is to kind of be expected with magnetic pickups but it seemed really exaggerated with this product. Hard to tell by listening I was even playing an acoustic. And in my mind, if it's gonna sound like an electric guitar, I'd rather play an electric guitar. I have returned this product to Amazon.

Soundhole pickup with easy install and great sound
I recently added this "Soundhole pickup" to a circa 1985 Blueridge BR-OS acoustic guitar. I was very pleased to find the pickup jack was made to mount into the guitar's strap endpin hole. I only had to slightly drill out the endpin hole so the pickup jack would fit into the hole, then tighten it down. It looks and sounds great. Excellent add-on product. Thank you!!!

and strumming sounds really bad and awful
Don't buy it if you play finger style. This is only for nylon guitars and classical guitar players. The sound quality is ok, but significantly lacks brightness. Caution: it won't pick up any slapping or knocking sound at all, and strumming sounds really bad and awful. Don't buy it unless you are playing classical.
