Nice cheap 1.4 lens
Not the sharpest wide open but nice character and very usable. Great lens also if you're using your Sony as a webcam for Zoom, blows people's minds on Zoom calls

This lens is worth it
Honestly, if you don't have the money to purchase a highly expensive lens and if you're especially looking for A lens good in low light conditions. Definitely pick this little dude up. I've had a lot of fun taking photos of EDM shows and metal concerts alike with this lens. especially for the price.

Fun but hard to get focused
Very fun lens to play around with. Since it's manual focus, it makes it a little tricky with recording stuff but even then I'm not disappointed.

Great lens for 90% of photographers.
The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical about the lens, especially about the minimum focus distance (0.5m on the Sony version). But since I can just decouple and move the lens farther from the sensor, it reduces the focus distance.Doing this on longer focal lengths is tricky because you run the risk of letting in light. But since the focal length is 21mm, only a little distance is needed (you need more on longer lengths). It turns out, very little light leaks through and the images come out great even freehanding the lens without a macro attachment.

Creamy
The media could not be loaded. Perspective: I had bought a Sony a6000, back in 2015 with the kit lens (18-55 F3.5-5.6).I also got an iPhone 13 mini and wife got an IPhone 13. So all our photos were mainly being taken via the phone. I compared the quality with the kit lens and was disappointed with my Sony. I was thinking of selling my camera off thinking I’ll never be able to use it. I had researched about lenses a bit but was discouraged seeing the prices.I recently saw some videos on perspective and focal length and was watching reviews on the expensive Sony and sigma 50mm 1.8s.Luckily this cheap one (TTartisan) came into my search results on Amazon. I saw a few reviews on YouTube and decided to order. It was Rs. 10600 for me. The cost was worth taking the risk. And frankly I’m blown away. The manual focus is NOT AT ALL a problem. Rather I love the feel and aesthetic of it. It’s especially better while filming video. I love it.Technicals - you lose a little sharpness at F1.4, but the aesthetics of the photo is amazing. The creamy bokeh is beyond words. It’s super sharp at F2.0. But I’m gonna keep shooting at 1.4.Don’t bother listening to ANYONE who’d discourage you to buy this. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves photography. You’re gonna have fun with this one.

Insanely Good Purchase
The lens was sent by the seller in adequate protected bubble roll. The box was literally pristine and intact with 2 seals from the manufacturer. The lens is heavy and solidly built. The manufacturing is pristine. Never expected TT Artisan to be so insanely good in manufacturing. Coming to the image quality they are extremely good. Attached are some pictures shot at F0.9 paired with my Sony Alpha A5100. The background separation is too deep and creamy. Using focus peaking feature of the camera it’s actually quite easy to focus the subject manually and also it’s a lot of fun using this lens as we are not dependent on the tact sharp auto-focus that we get from the prime master like the Sigma F1.4 trio. Overall I am extremely happy with the purchase and the lens and the seller. Will get more lens from TT Artisan in the future.
