This is perfect for boiling eggs! Cracking on the counter has always worked but sometimes can cause a mess. This is also great for making a starter hole to chip open if you are blowing out your eggs, I predominantly do this with Goose eggs but have done duck and chicken as well.

I had to get the hang of how hard to press the egg, but this did work as directed. The peeling was much easier to do and on fresh eggs. Thing is, I can't find it. Ha! Going to order another.

Haven’t used it yet. Looks like it will work. I ordered because I no longer had the one that came with my egg cooker.

Very satisfied with my purchase

After breaking a couple of eggs I went back to the pin embedded in the water measuring cup that came with my rapid egg cooker. The shells on those particular eggs may have been unusually thin. I will probably try again another time with different eggs. Also my technique may have been wrong. I was pushing down on the tool with the egg and letting the egg expose the pin. Next time I will push the tool down to expose the pin with one hand and manipulate the egg to poke the hole with the other. If that does not work I will have to trash it.

Takes some broken eggs to get use to it!

Works as advertised. I have been using for over a year and the eggs peel perfected every time.
