Haribo Die Schluempfe (Smurf Gummi Candy) Tub (150 pcs)

Product Review: If you are familiar with Haribo Gummy Bears, these are not the same texture and they aren't supposed to be. These are a softer, stickier chew than the bears, but as long as they aren't super soft from sitting in the sun or something then they don't stick to your teeth like caramel. Some reviews have likened these to Sweedish Fish but I'd say the Smurfs are more solid than those. While close in idea to Sweedish Fish, they have a different taste and texture. They aren't overly sweet, which IMO is a good thing as I don't like candy that is too sweet. The flavor is what I would describe as a soft fruity flavor, perhaps like a blue raspberry, but not overpowering. Each individual Smurf is about 1.75" tall, about 1" wide, and about 0.25" thick (all at the largest measurement). Good for multiple bites for kids!Background: I'm an Army brat. When we were in Frankfurt years ago there was a German alcohol shop on the way to school that sold all kinds of yummy gummy candy. This was one of them and as a kid I loved 'em and couldn't get enough.Fast Forward: I have found other versions of Haribo Smurfs here in the states and tried them with disappointment because they weren't what I remembered. I saw these and jumped at the sight. They came in the mail today and I sunk my teeth into them and I instantly knew it was them. Still taste awesome and it was like I was on the way to school again...Only problem now is that I have to get more! :) A huge thanks to the sellers for providing these. Will be buying more in the future for sure!!

We have eaten Haribo gummy candy for years and were excited about these imported Smurfs gummies. The problem is that these particular gummies are VEGAN, which means they have no gelatin in them and they are a totally different consistency than normal gummy candies. When you bite into the Vegan gummies, they are a very gooey gloppy texture and they stick in your teeth. The flavor is okay, but its also different than what you may be used to with Haribo gummies.The product was fresh and in good condition when received, so no complaints there. Just want to make people aware that these are VEGAN gummies with different ingredients than normal, so they are very different texture and taste than what you may be used to with regular Haribo products. Just be aware that you're ordering Vegan version here, and it is dramatically different than typical Haribo gummy products feel and taste.

The media could not be loaded. Add me to the list of many with the same complaint. I love the candy but why can’t you add a piece of tape? The price is high enough that I doubt it would hurt you to seal it better!

1. So much better than how they make them in the US. Was packaged securely, arrived early, and delicious.2. Update: same as initial review above (1.) except sun bleached and anemic looking. Same texture/flavor but someone left this bucket in the sun. Color difference. As noted in pics, no filters. Still safe, packaged well, yummy. Just sadly pale.

authentic German Gummies

I thought these smurfs were what I've bought in France - Haribo Schtroumpfs - which are delicious. These were anything but...terrible in fact. It was a lot to spend for a candy worthy of the trash. :(

First things first, especially in response to the review that these are not like the gummy bears- no they are not. You can see from the text. These are from Europe, not the US. Haribo in Europe is more stiff and chewy than Haribo here. Haribo is not an American brand. So that's important to know. I buy these everytime I go to Finland and sooo glad you can now buy these here in the US and they are imported from Europe. Chewy, firm, amazing. Haribo candies here don't compare. I love the gummi bears. These are also not the taste of Swedish Fish so don't expect that. Sweet and good. Be mindful of what you're getting and don't give a negative review because you didn't do your research and know what to expect- that's on you, not the product. If you have had Haribo in Europe though- grab these- they are amazing!
