I've been almost unable to function since being diagnosed with a femoral hernia a month ago. I was really struggling to look after my young children and do basic household tasks without giving myself severe pain.I had to keep lying flat on my back. Couldn't bend, couldn't pick things up off the floor, etc etc. And I couldn't imagine being able to survive like that until I have surgery in goodness knows how many weeks!I've been wearing this support belt for two days now and it has been absolutely life-changing. Yes, it's bulky, and I have to double wrap the strap that goes between your legs to make it fit me, but it has given me some functionality back.Having that pressure on the affected area helps to keep things in place, prevent pain, and allow me to do some basics things again. It's also allowing me to do some walking to stay fit before surgery. I'm not back to my normal self, but honestly, any improvement has been very welcome.If you are struggling, it's absolutely worth trying this.

Fits great, just a bit of a faff putting it on, but that's more because of my unfortunate situation. Very grateful for the relief it gives me, allowing me to carry on with work relatively pain frer

Apologies for the detail.I have a small inguinal hernia. It's not painful thankfully, but it is an uncomfortable feeling when it's "out". This belt keeps it in, and I wear it when at work (electrician). I cannot describe this belt as "comfortable" however it IS more comfortable than the hernia "popping out" all the time and then having to massage/push it back in. Its expensive for what it is, you can find inguinal hernia belts on Aliexpress for a third of this price...

I had been training well, until a groin strain, which then developed into a right inguinal hernia. I purchased the product thinking it won't come to this, but as the days drew closer to the event, I didn't have a choice.This belt got me through the London Marathon. I didn't use the strap underneath, but used some compression pants and then this sat on top. This product definitely helped me through it,Easy to attach and adjust.

Needed support for inguinal hernia while I waited for op. It's not most comfortable support (compared toi joint supports - I've no experience of other hernia ones) BUT that's not the fault of the support but what it is supposed to do. It did the job and I could wear it almost all day - I'm really glad I bought it.

I've been wearing this belt for 2 days and I feel I've already got my money back. Hernia sufferers will know how excruciating pain can be and this belt certainly helps. I'm still at least 8 weeks away from an op and was becoming immobile so I decided to take a punt and try this. It's not perfect and I still get the odd twinge but I'm back to walking again virtually pain free. I'm still playing around to find the best fit and I've tried the pad with the bump facing in and facing out. I understand bump facing in is the correct way but pain relief is the priority. I'm 37" hips and bought large which fits. It's comfortable but I do feel the pad sometimes when I bend or sit down. Cheaper belts are available but this rated quite well with other users and seems very good quality.
