We didn't like how the saddle bags lay on the dog. It is very light weight, but with good ripstop and decent materials. However, our dog would get hung up on the underbrush quite often. There is also no load stablizing straps. The dog gets beat up by the load flopping around while running. If your dog isn't very active and you always stay right on the trails (or in the city), this is probably an okay pack for you. But when we can we let our dog run a bit and she tears through the trees and bushes sniffing and looking for wildlife. We have no use for a pack that is so floppy and loose.

After searching through multiple dog backpacks, I am glad I decided on this one! I bought this for my Great Dane and also fits my 10mons old Saint Bernard, and it adjuts to fit both of them perfectly! Both pockets are very spacious and can hold a lot, and material seems very easy to clean and maintain. Excited to use this backpack for my dogs this summer when we go on hikes and adventures so the dogs can carry their own water, toys and tennis balls and I can enjoy the hike more with less things to carry!

Really quite good. Deducting a star for the inadequacy of the roughly 5" pad that should keep the neck strap from digging into the front of the dog's neck. It shifts constantly, and needs to be readjusted. I'll figure out a way, now that it is sized to my dog, to more permanently affix it to the strap. Other than that, very well made. Now my pooch can carry her own gear!

I got this got my Great Dane. He is 2. I was worried the large would not fit but there is a good bit of room for him! The middle strap slides to the back strap because of his ribs. The bags have different connections so you put them on the correct side. I only plan on putting his water bowl and one or two water bottles on each side for him. So far I love it and again shocked how well the large fits him!

I'm so glad it fits, I didn't think it would. Only used it once since I got it and I can only complain about the material and the fact that it slides down a bit but whatever it's holds his stuff and doesn't choke him.

We bought this for our Golden Retriever Great Pyrenees mix. He's a big boy with some PTSD from living on the streets of Taiwan. The straps underneath seem to restrict him from lifting his leg to pee. Other than that...it's a great product.

Perfect fit and very light weight. The saddle bags come off so it’s easy to pack and unpack your stuff. I put a water bottle on each side and still have plenty of room for keys and things.

Got this for 2 reasons. For a harness so I can attach a hunter orange vest to her during hunting season. And for the packs when we go hiking in the summer. Got a large for our 60 pound Husky. She has a deep chest so needed the extra size. Haven't tried the packs yet but can already tell we will need to put a compression strap around the whole body to prevent the packs from bouncing up and down as she runs. Seems well designed overall with top handle, D ring, adjustable straps, etc. Strap buckles can move so you need to check the fit every so often.Exactly what I wanted, a harness with removable packs at a bargain price.

I have a very big alapaha blue bulldog and she pulls none stop. I have tried everything I can think of and this was my last try before giving up and accepting I have a mental dog who is nightmare to walk.This is the best purchase I have ever made for any of my dogs. She walked beautifully and on first walk with backpack on I put 2 500ml bottles of water in each pocket (so I jumped in the dead end head first) and she was absolutely a completely different dog. She walked beautifully, did not stress out or be uncomfortable by the bag or the weight. She did pull on odd occasions but I can handle that with 90% of the walk being beautiful.I have already recommended this backpack to people.Not only is it amazing how it makes the dog focus on you and the walk but the quality of the bag it's self is sturdy and durable.Just a all round perfect buy

Seems a little cheaply made. The straps are not cushioned from rubbing on shoulders and neck. Does not sit on dogs back very well, it slides off the side a bit. And that’s with no weight in it. I can’t imagine how bad it would be with weight. Seems like I wasted my money

I like the comfort and design of the backpack.Unfortunately the 1st day I used it, one of the saddle bags came of as the stitching came undone. Only had poo bags and treats in. So wasnt heavy. Stitched the clip back myself so hoping it will hold.

Item is a great quality and a good fit. I look forward to having the dog carry her own supplies on our bikes.

Purchased this for my malamute puppy chose large after looking at size chart really disappointed when it arrived was not the size it stated and didn't fit
