Note on Oxylate Content: Per a call to the manufacturer: "No Smart Balance or Earth Balance Product contains Oxalic Acid or its salts." Of course this DOES NOT include the peanuts in peanut butter products, but because the soy (in products that contain it-- Smart Balance does, Earth Balance generally does not) is in oil form, it also does not contain Oxylates. Just a note for fellow stone sufferers. I agree with other reviewers, it is a great product, we have dairy allergies in our house so it is a must! Have to say though the Willow's Run soy butter from Shedd's (discontinued) was a lot more affordable (I think 3.36 for 4 sticks-but I do not think it was soy free). We go through Earth's balance like eggs, bread and milk, would love to see it comparable priced with local grocery prices (which if on sale I buy and freeze it).

I have not gotten this from Amazon but I have been eating and cooking with this for months. i really appreciate that it is now av@ilable "soy free". It is a wonderful product! if I could use it up faster, I deffinitely would buy it on Amazon. I believe that we need to get as far away from genetically modified foods as possible. Earth Balance makes great products!

Many people go soy free because of phytoestrogens and how they effect their body. This contains a flax ingredient so you're still dealing with phytoestrogens
