crisp, yummy strawberries for long term storage, or daily use as snack, in hot oats, etc
Freeze dried and Dehydrated are two entirely different processes for water extraction. I saw a review that mentioned that they expected a raisin style strawberry, and they expected it to be sweet. For that, one would want to look for dehydrated strawberries or just the search term "dried" (but making sure it isnt freeze dried). And they would need to know that nearly ALL "raisin" style dried fruits have added sugar, hence the perception of it being sweet (and this freeze dried being a tad tart). Hard to find them without added suagr. Why? 2 reasons. One, Dried (and freeze dried) fruit just aren't all that sweet. Two, added sugar adds weight. Sugar is very cheap compared to the fruit being used, so in essence you are paying for the weight of the sugar (and why the rare "no added anything" can be pricy). Freeze dried never has added sugar (at least that I have seen among the brands I buy). These are freeze dried strawberries. So that means the texture is crisp, light, dry, has a light snap crunch when consumed direct from bag. No added anything. JUST STRAWBERRIES with water removed via freeze dry process. They reconstitute a bit when added to something moist or liquidy. Ie, they soften up when tossed in with hot oats, or used in baking. Can soak them with a little water and sugar to make an ice cream topping. For me, I like then as is or added onto yogurt or onto my hot oats. Since ALL liquid is extracted with freeze dried foods, the shelf life is indefinite. Makes for great long term pantry item without added fuss. Maintains a lot or all the nutrition, so good to have on hand if fruit options run low.Good product, good brand, reasonable price. I have used Huggiberries products before and have been satisfied with all that I have tried.

Awesome for a variety of foods!
I've been trying to cut back my cholesterol, so I've had to change my diet up. One of the healthier items I'd eat prior to the diet change was dried fruit, so I decided to add some back to my diet in moderation. I've had freeze dried strawberry slices and liked them, but wondered what a full berry would be like.I found these and decided to try them. Well, the bag didn't last long, so I can't comment on shelf life! These were great. I enjoyed them by themselves for snacking, or added to other food like oatmeal or salads to liven them up! I didn't have any issues with stale fruit or other poor quality, so if I want more of these, I'll gladly reorder them!

Taste good, but really expensive
These taste good and were fresh, but they are very expensive for a little bag of berries. I can get a similar item at Trader Joe's for a lot less money.

Delicious and useful
I got these to simulate the Starbucks drink hack where you put dried strawberries and water with lemon and it works. I use these on everything and actually I need to order some more. Definitely recommend. The flavor and the freshness are unparalleled

Maybe this product would be better had I received it before the "Best Before" date.
It was a month past the "Best Before" date when I received this product. Taste was okay, but I've had better.
