Reviewed by someone who actually used them!
I bought these gloves because I ripped my 3-year-old Burtons and I was going back to the mountain the next weekend. Let me start by saying, I feel these gloves got a good review because people reviewed them before actually using the gloves. After one day of use, they ripped in 3 different spots.Waterproofing: When I got to the mountain it had about 4.5 inches of powder on the ground and it snowed a total of 5 inches throughout the day. I was on the mountain for a total of 7 hours. These gloves lasted about 3 runs (an hour and a half) before getting wet and once they got wet they are a pain to take on and off without pulling out the inserts. I have had these gloves hanging up for 2 days now and they still are not dry.Size:I have worn size large gloves my entire adult life without any exceptions until these. The large feels more like a medium. It wasn't so tight that it felt uncomfortable or that they were going to split, it was just a little snugger than I would like. To be fair their description does say that XL is for Men and boys over 15 so maybe they're going for a universal adult size which doesn't make much sense to me but I did not read that until after I bought them so that is my faultSummary:If you want a warm pair of gloves that are super soft inside that don't require waterproofing these are awesome, but if you bought these ski gloves to go skiing you'll be greatly disappointed and wishing you would have saved the $20 and put the money into a pair of gloves that keep your hands dry.

Sized for a giant
I ordered the 12-14 year size for myself, because I have small hands. I should have ordered toddler-sized, I guess. However, they are REALLY soft inside & seem like they'd be warm. I'm going to keep them, they'll just be BIG. My 12 year old won't be able to borrow them, because her hands are smaller than mine. Also, there's a zipper pocket on the back, I missed that in the description. It is made nice.

NOT ‘True To Size’!!
I only gave these gloves 2 stars because they SEEM to be of good quality; however, with that having been said, my daughter hasn’t used them and I therefore cannot make a definitive statement regarding the functionality of these gloves.Positives: They feel really nice and cozy on the inside and the lining definitely doesn’t detach from the fingers (a huge plus). The ‘grip’ is also on all 5 fingers, not just on the palm and thumb. They’re super cute (my 5-year-old daughter picked them herself) and the Velcro is very secure.Okay... now for the negatives.Negatives: These gloves DO NOT FIT my 5-year-old AT ALL. She has normal sized hands as I’ve measured her hands using sizing charts and she definitely has the right sized hands for her age. I have very large hands for a woman (the length of an average man’s hand, but super slender), and they were ALMOST big enough for me to wear (about half the size I’d need). So, I cannot recommend these gloves as they are ANYTHING BUT ‘true to size.’

Fell apart after one use
I give these gloves two stars. Not only did the inside come out when my daughter removed her hand-but it was extremely difficult to realign the fingers and get them back in their right spots. They also weren’t very waterproof, which I discovered while trying to put the inside back into the gloves. The thumb lining even had a hole in it after one use. I don’t recommend these gloves. So glad I brought some back up Mittens on our vacation. Only giving it two stars bc my daughter really liked the color and fabric design.

Very cozy, but some issues with liner pulling out
Daughter loves her new gloves. They're very warm, waterproof, and have nice long wrist guards that cinch up easily with the ratchet clip thingy. Only issue is that the floofy warm liner pulls out sometimes when she pulls her gloves off. I may need to somehow tack the fingertips to the ends of the gloves if it keeps being problematic. But overall these are really nice. Daughter is 12.5 years old and we got her Large size. They're a little roomy but worth it for the marked improvement in quality over similarly-priced kid gloves, and they'll likely last her longer.
