One of our dogs is a sloppy drinker and gets water all over the kitchen floor! She doesn't know how to lick the water using tongue and tends to stick in the whole mouth while drinking, leaving a water trail everywhere, when she's done. The anti-slip bottom prevents it from sliding across the floor while sliding. There's still a few drops here and there, around the bowl but it has reduced the water spillage significantly. The floating disk also prevents a lot of dirt from falling in the bowl, which is an added bonus, because our dogs are quite picky about their water. Overall, it's a nice bowl and I'm happy with the purchase.

If you have a dog that lacks water etiquette, get this. After wading through water on kitchen floor every day, I wondered how I could slow our Labs drinking down. She starts at level 10, and builds higher throughout day. And she has a love of drinking water. At one time, we had a slow eatter dish for a rescue dog that needed to get past his fear of food lack. I wondered if they had something like that for water. I googled slow water drinking bowl and found this on Amazon. Had many great reviews and great it is. Was immediate. No more water across the floor, very few drops around bowl, and even brought her drinking more under control, at least in part. At least our other dogs get a chance now. I highly recommend this bowl for all dog owners.

I am very impressed with the design of this product. My dog used to splash water all over the house when drinking, but now I no longer have to clean up every time. I really love this product and highly recommend it to anyone with dogs or cats—it saves so much time and effort on cleaning up!

It works great. There’s no more water to slip on and his mouth is not dripping much either. Finally a dry floor. I wish I’d had this years ago. 5stars and really affordable too.

It would work great if you had a medium size dog. Mine is very big so it didn’t hold enough water

If you have a water-splashed like my kitty, this is the water bowl for you. My little girl loves to splash and play and has knocked her fair share of bowls over. I’ve tried different shapes, sizes, depths, and varieties (fountains included) and haven’t found a foolproof answer yet. Thought I’d give this a try due to its structure and the antislid bottom. It’s looking good! She’s not knocked it over yet!!

This bowl leaves no water at the top and there's nothing there for my dogs to drink. In the picture there's a puddle. This floats completely on top and has no access unless they push down. And one of my dogs is blind so he'll never know there's water there. Misleading product...

Unfortunately, my dogs have figured out that if they push their nose in it and drink like they normally would they come out dripping, which is what I was trying to avoid, but the idea is great

I bought this over 18 months ago for my papillon. He used to drink so fast he'd cough after almost every time. This bowl helped a great deal with slowing him down when drinking. He still coughs sometimes, but not nearly as often as before. It took him less than a minute to figure out how to drink. I just wish they would make a smaller bowl for small breeds (half the size would be perfect for my pap's needs).

I got this to prevent my dog from leaving drips when he drunk water. He has a beard which always made his drinking water habits very messy. This dish has prevented drips. It needs to be washed frequently as it does gather debris on the bottom.
