Works perfectly! I had a gold leaf bowl with several chips....filled them in easily with this product and a sponge brush! The bowl is like new again!

When my jar of gold leaf paint arrived, some of the paint had leaked from the lid area. Fortunately, the paint that had leaked was contained in the bubble wrap and plastic packaging. However, now the jar was not full, and I learned that the product was not refundable. After contacting Amazon, Hawthorn products sent me a free replacement jar, which I appreciate very much.While I still appreciate Hawthorn Products for replacing my leaked jar of gold leaf, I am extremely disappointed that the color is no longer the beautiful light, bright gold color like was in my previous bottle. It is a darker, browner, bronze-like color. I specifically compared the color and numbers on my old bottle of Sheffield Bronze Paint Company gold leaf to the new bottle before purchasing it. Both colors are superlite, and the bar code numbers are both 88289 11718. Trust me. It is NOT the same color.

I used to love this paint - looked just like gold leaf but more durable and easy to apply but now it has gotten a copper tint which is aweful!

My Aunt and I are crafters, we have used this gold paint off and on for 30 years. Great coverage and price.
