I would send it back. I know that resin has a shelf life. That one might be an errant left over.

You should always take the same safety precautions with any resins, as they can irritate skin, irritate lungs, toxic to swallow, and can be harmful.

Q: what's the difference between this 8K waterwashable resin and regular water washable resin?

It correlates with the resolution of your printer’s display. Higher resolution will produce smoother prints. I wouldn’t worry too much about the 2k, 4K, 6k, or 8k unless you are gonna be looking at your prints through a microscope.
