Daylight bright, covers on panels have diffusion dots (not full diffusion)
Really, really bright. Better than having the garage door open on the sunniest day. A 5+1 160W garage light claims to put out the same amount of lumens, but this 6+1 200W garage light is noticeably brighter. Mistakenly glancing at these lit panels is less painful than the 5+1 because instead of clear covers these have a wide grid of dots that help a tiny bit to diffuse the light. Better to not look.I am using these lights in existing sockets. I left the small looking supplied plastic sockets in the box.The base of the light screws into standard light sockets but feels a little small. They don't move after being screwed in, but I had to resist an impulse to twist harder.I was happily surprised at the size. These lights are smaller than I imagined. No less industrial looking in person, but not like giant mechanical flowers covering the ceiling. The panels rotate up and down, no tilting left or right. Another model I tried could angle below horizontal, which helped with not blinding a person coming in a raised doorway that pointed at the light.Very satisfied with these garage lights and would recommend.

Easy to install.
These multi-position led lights are almost as simple and easy to install as replacing a screw-in style light bulb. The adjustment is amazing. My mechanical room (with an outside entrance) has a 12 foot ceiling and I've been using a screw-in, "Y" style adaptor in the ceiling socket. The amount of light from two 100 watt bulbs was pretty much sufficient, but flood light bulbs get extremely hot, and there are times when I don't go into that room for several weeks.Other than just the cost of running flood lamps, I have always been concerned if the hot bulbs, accidently being left unattended for so long, might cause a fire. After replacing the old flood light bulbs with these low wattage LED bulbs, I went ahead and replaced the light switch with a 60 minute spring wound timer.I have a few outbuildings that could also benefit from these LED bulbs, and I plan on ordering more.

Instant on - super bright - 200W
Super bright, cool white light. I like that it turns on instantly. I have one for each side of a 2-car garage and it lights up everything very well. I was able to aim each of the 6 flaps for optimal lighting of each part of the garage and they stay where I aim them.It is super bright - just glancing at it leaves dots on my eyes from the little individual LED spots. It could really use a light diffuser (a cloudy lens over each LED panel) like another similar bulb I have to help prevent that (but many, like this one, do not).It was easy to install in a standard garage bulb socket. Make sure yours can handle 200W - many of the bare bulb sockets are rated 660W but some might be less.

Ridiculously bright garage light!
The amount of brightness this light provides is impressive! I received it to replace one that did not hold up. Not only is it brighter than your traditional bulbs but is at least 50% brighter than any of the other LED garage lights that I've seen. The make of the unit is also sturdy and shouldn't run into any issues with loosened panels like I experienced previously. Overall, I highly recommend this garage light!!
