Works well
Bought my car and the hood latch was destroyed and had to ratchet strap my hood to keep it closed. This worked extreme well. My hood is dented and misformed so it was only a matter of time before it messed this one up. I just bought another one and it works perfectly fine. If you have a perfect hood that isn’t all jacked up then you should be perfect. No conplaints from me and I’m on my 2nd hood latch from this company

Good enough.
You can tell this product isn't as fluid or sturdy as the original was. It's a tad more clunky, but it works as it should. And as far as looks, you can always just change out the little pull tab with a more aesthetic piece.

It Fits, It Work, Great Price, and It Came Overnight
This is not OEM latch, but it works, is a great price, and it came fast. What else can you ask for. Granted if I had a R32 Golf, I would pay more to get the OEM, but for a normal Golf, this is great.

Fits great but doesn’t work
The latch is pretty much identical to the original but differs slightly. The product went on great and fit like a charm. When I closed the hood it would not completely shut. My original hood latch was working fine but has started to fall apart from use. This latch does not let me completely shut it even after 2 hours of trying to adjust the angle and height of it. If you do get this latch I hope you have better luck than me. The quality of the product was good. Only reason for 1 star is it not working as intended.

Typical none OEM junk quality but it’ll work I guess
Little plastic handle was junk, broke off third time I tried to open hood. So I have to buy another part.

Had to install washers to work
Works good, still wasn’t latching so I had to add 2 washers, took minimal effort to shut no slamming required. (Don’t slam it or it will bend the safety latch lol)
