Very useful and you can see the difference of your espresso immediately . It makes the coffee evenly distributed and the coffee cream becomes thicker

1st off @ almost $60 they didn't even put magnets into the rim to secure this unit to the basket. THAT'S A MUST ! 2nd and far more important is that the needles (at thier farthest extent) only reaches 1/2 way into the 12-14 gram basket. What is up with that ! ? @$60 I expect to be able to stir/agitate ALL the coffee thru the entire depth of a 12-14 gram basket with ease to create a smooth mixture. IT DOESN'T. I played with this thing for quit sometime trying to extend the needles further then just 1/2 inch. What a poor poor design. The needles need to extend 1 to 1-1/4 inch in depth to be able to stir ALL THE COFFEE in any size basket. I mean why are we paying all this money for a VERY POORLY designed unit. R U kidding me. I have returned this unit for the lack of ability to reform even a mediocre job of smoothing out the coffee portion. OMG. Please provide the names of the executives (who twiddling thier thumbs and/or were picking thier nose) at the meeting that granted to start production of this unit. In my opinion this isn't worth the cost of scrap metal that it would produce if it was sold to a junkyard, ( about 5¢).

The Coffee Powder Distributor is a handy tool for coffee enthusiasts, effectively serving its purpose. While its performance is commendable, the design might appear a bit unconventional to some. Despite the unusual appearance, it's proven to be a useful addition to my coffee routine.

This WDT tool is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It comes with brushes after use and a good amount of distributed needles. You can adjust the depth, but only so much. The one flaw is that it can’t go super deep when you are trying to break up clumps in your grind. I use an IMS Precision basket and it cannot get to the bottom of the portafilter, which causes a good amount of channeling. Its a decent WDT tool, but the manual ones might be the better/cheaper option.

Not recommended, and sending it back. The needles are just too short to distribute grounds. With extending all the way out, it’s only reaching half the depth of the basket of a 18 gm volume for 54mm portafilter, and those needles are welded in so can’t be replaced, seems the product did not go through practical real word testing…
