Unsuitable for Cereal
The cover does not fit easily into place, requiring close attention to the fit before trying to push down the latches. The latches are attached by a sprung plastic arm, which will eventually weaken or break. Also, the latches often take several tries before they catch. I could live with all that, but what makes these completely unsuitable is the small opening for pouring out the contents. I bought these for cereal, but it just get jammed up when pouring. I wound up cutting the openings to make them larger and therefore partially useful. Would not recommend.

Perfect Cereal Storage - One Very Happy Mom!
Love these containers. We live in FL in the tropics and well, there's plenty of ants and other critters. With two small boys I want to make sure that our food stays fresh and the unwanted critters stay out. These containers are easy for my kids to use. Keep the contents fresher longer. The best part is that my kids can see what is in each one easily to find what they are looking for! The old chip clip and bag storage is gone from our house forever. anndddddd... added bonus! Economical Reef Dosing container alternative
I am using these as dosing containers for calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, etc for my Reef tank. Nice to have a well sealed container that doesn't waste alot of space. Just add a John guest fitting to each top and a Lees hard aitline tube.

Big and keeps my food fresh
These containers seemed good. I didn’t test how airtight it was but the cereal still tastes fresh. Bigger than I expected but would fit one of the big bags of cereal I get from BJs. I like that the top stays open. Good buy and just what I needed

As advertised it fits a large family size box of cereal and then some. The lids are pretty bulky so they don’t sit next to other items or containers very well, but you can stack things or other containers in top of them which is a win.

Great container
This is perfect for us to put the "bag cereal" in so that we can save money at the grocery. I do wish they were a bit bigger to fit the "family size" bags to save us a bit more - but still satisfied with my order.
