This is a good idea for addressing the cupholder problem that all G-wagen owners suffer. There is one cupholder in the center, and one that is a “net” in the passenger footwell. This an SUV not a Tesla roadster! Cupholders please! So this item locks onto the side vents, but allows the vents to still function. It isn’t the largest cupholder, and won’t hold a mug, but it’s a LOT better than not having it. Fits in well with the interior. The one problem is seen in the photo - using the passenger cupholder interferes with the passenger side mirror. I like it enough, though, that I am buying a second one for the driver’s side.

I LOVE these cup holders. So glad that I bought 2 so that I could put one on both the driver’s and passenger’s side. They are sturdy, well-constructed and match the G-Wagon perfectly. The instructions were clear and simple. I assembled them myself in minutes. Not sure why such a luxury vehicle wasn’t equipped with these basic essentials but I’m grateful for the inventor of these amazing cup holders! Don’t hesitate a moment longer. This IS what you’ve been looking for!

Although it was quite pricey, I bought it for my husband’s G wagon since it doesn’t have cup holder on driver’s side & this one was supposed to match interior. 1) It blocks air vent 2) doesn’t accommodate any cups that my husband has so we returned it

Installation went well. It is solid, sturdy and of high enough quality that it looks at home in a G63. That said, it has two flaws: it only holds relatively small diameter cups, and, the price is genuinely absurd. Granted, people that own these rigs are not very cost sensitive but it so absurdly priced that it feels insulting...

This product is so good that I wanted to put a review about it. It is head and shoulders above any aftermarket cup holder I have ever seen. The engineering behind it is spectacular. The instructions are clear and the fit is perfect. I tried one and loved it so much I bought another one. Even though these are (with a doubt!) the most expensive cup holders I have ever bought, they are so worth it. If you have G63 AMG quit wasting your time looking for a cheaper fix for the terrible cup holder situation that exists in the GWagons and just buy this. Try the first one, and then just get ready to buy one for the other side.

This is a great product. I love the look. I do feel it is a bit to high in price.Improtant thing to know. If you but a cold plastic Spring water bottle in it and the you car heat is on, the water gets hot. It will work well if you drink coffee. lol. anyway love it so much brought 2. One for each side.

Well made. Instructions were well written and well illustrated. Fits perfectly. I was concerned that it would inhibit the air flow on the AC but unless you have a cup inserted does not seem to be a problem. Does seem expensive for a cup holder but there is no other solution out there.
