T R U Ball Buckle Bone Collector Scout Release Black-Large

I bought both the buckle and the velcro models. I like the fact that the velcro model has a lower profile, so a sleeve fits over it more easily than the buckle model. But the buckle is no higher than I have seen on many other releases. I have not experienced the slipping noted by Zack. Both models are comfortable. I don't mind the noise of the velcro, since I put it on and off at the vehicle, not in my stand.

I like every thing about this release except the tag end retaining loop. They make the retaining loop for the wrist strap too large to function well because that is where they sew on their logo. A smaller retaining loop would do a better job of holding the excess wrist strap.

It's okay. Their system for retaining the strap needs improvement. I shoot a 70# bow and slowly over time it pulls strap out making the release length longer than where I had originally set it. So I'm constantly shortening it which is a PITA. They need a better system to make sure once set, the strap doesn't move. Something that clamps/screws down. I'm looking for something else as a consequence.

This is one of the most high in top of the line triggers that I've ever purchased, I use this for my compound bow that I recently purchased I have a bunch of different trigger release and this one and this brand will be the only brand I ever buy.

Initially I couldn't set the trigger pull as light as I wanted, because it slipped (fired) while drawing. I finally got it to a pretty good setting, and then used this release for several months, shooting about 100 arrows a week. Then it started slipping again. I made the draw a little heavier, but I don't like the trigger pull to be so heavy. So now this release sits in my case, and I'm using something else. Don't think I'd buy this again.

Great release after a few minutes of adjusting the length to fit my hand correctly. Very smooth trigger pull, I didn't have to slap at the trigger anymore.
