SHIMANODura-Ace BB-7700 Octalink Bottom Bracket, Silver, English Thread (Size: 68 x 109.5mm)

Shimano BB-7700 English Bottom Bracket V2 Octalink Hollow Spindle 68mm x 1.09.5 BB Hanger Width.I have used this BB for years in my TREK OCLV Bike. Easy to install and service, but stays adjusted and seldom needs any attention.For removal, first, remove R-Crankarm and then R-Lockring which is fixed to BB Shell using Campy or Park BB Lockring Tool. Lockkring loosens clockwise/forward. You may need to tap the tool with a rubber mallet if too tight. Be sure to pay attention to the 2 rubber washers. Repeat process on L-Crankarm. L-Lockring removes counterclockwise/forward. BB Shell removes froward and may come out with Lockring or separately. Hollow spindle can be removed. Be mindful of washers . Clean and regrease bearings and assemble in reverse order. Since R-Lockring is fixed or part of BB Shell, install this side first tightly and adjust for smooth rotation with the L-side Lockring.Sounds busy, but very easy to do.I do this once a year, and I ride almost evey day.

ピストに組むため、購入しました。作りも回転もいいですね。このBBはオーバーホール可能なので、作りの精度が高いのはありがたいですね。回転もかなりいいです、滑らかですね。スギノのBBよりは回転性能で劣りますが、部品点数も多いし耐久性は高いと思います(個人の感想です)。オクタリンククランクで回転性能を求めるとこのBB一択になってしまいますが、値段なりの価値は充分にあります。まだオーバーホールをしていないため中身の状態を確認していないため、減点していますが問題無いように思います。
