Update 2021-22After letting it “rest” in the shed for over a year, I got a new charger and cable and it works great again. Outlasted it’s replacement from inevifit. It’s generally more accurate than other digital scales I have had, and it doesn’t get stuck on the previous days weight like scales that have a high default buffer programmed in … most digital scales require a substantial change in weight from the previous use in order for it to show up. Not this one.Update 2019: the thing barely lasted 2 years. It’s weight readings became increasingly erratic. I tried recharging the battery, and it went to a constant reading of “Lo” after I connected it. No amount of recharge time seems to make any difference.————This scale is really nice: I like the minimalist design/lack of buttons. The color nicely complements my home dojo/gym. The scale self-calibrates quickly and accurately. the rechargeable feature is very nice: green and convenient. It comes set to kgs a simple tilt and set it down again, and it resets to lbs and re-calibrates. no fuss.

Update: I have had thos for 1½ years now and it still works great! I have only needed to charge it a few times. It does get water spots and needs cleaned often, but we also have 4 kids that use the same bathroom! Still love this scale!Original review:Works just like it says :) I did have to charge it already, but it's in our really small bathroom neat the toilet so the kids and husband step on it all the time. Then I found out that my cat likes to sit on it for some reason 😂 She is 9.3 lbs! It really does read small amounts accurately.I plugged it in to charge (comes with a very short charging cord that you can use with your cell charger block) And left it charging while I was out of the house a couple hours. It said full charge when I got back. I really like that battery level symbol so I know when to charge it. It's already saving me batteries!The first time I set it down on the floor it read 3.4 lbs. It was the weight of the scale weighing itself....give it a min or two and it will reset and tare out to be ready to use. This happens sometimes if you pick it up and move it...but if you just use your foot to move it around (easy) then it doesn't do this. Some people complained of it getting smudged and dirty...well it's just like anything else in your bathroom...it needs cleaning too, so you might want to wash it off with a little spray and a cloth once in a while. It's very easy to clean and only takes a second to make it shine!I also checked the accuracy with another scale and it seems to be in perfect working order. It does work to 0.01 of a lb accuracy...not every 0.02 like many other scales (and my previous one, hence the new scale).

Not sure how accurate this thing is because I weighed myself about and hour apart and got different results. Since ate dinner in the time between these 2 photos- shouldn't i weigh more?? I should return this.Update: theres no way I weigh 136lbs a week later.... Don't waste your money on this.

My updated review after 3 years of intermittent use.PROS:+ The battery lasts forever. I charged my scale 5 months ago and it still has a full charge!+ Beautiful design. It arrived just as pictured.+ You can switch between pounds and kilograms with a quick click of the button under the scale.CONS:- It doesn't zero out right away. Tapping on the scale to turn it on will cause it to display 3.0, 3.2, 3.3, 3.5 or 3.7 instead of an immediate 0.0. After that, it clears itself out before finally displaying 0.0. The whole process takes about 5 seconds, but I find odd that you can't jump on the scale right away. If you do, your final weight will read 3+ pounds heavier than you are.- This scale no longer charges after 3 years of ownership and 2 charges.

Very nice scale. Seems well made and very accurate. The reason for the four star review is the charging method. It's great that its rechargeable and needs no batteries. The charging is with a USB cable. This means you cannot plug it directly into an AC outlet. You can plug it into the USB port on a computer (computer must be on) or use the AC adapter that comes with an iPhone or laptop computer. If you have neither one of these devices you're out of luck. You will not be able to charge this scale. That should have been made clear for those who do not have USB connectivity. Otherwise it seems to be a great product.

I have waited several months to review this item It is top quality, very accurate and attractively ( red ) styled.It has been about 6 months since I purchased it, and I have only had to recharge it once.I am 100% satisfied with this item.If you are looking for a scale that does not read 5 different weights within minutes apart, and is accurate according to doctor's scale comparison then you will be pleased with this one.

on the box and inside the instructions it says 3 charges? Does this mean this will only work 3 times. Design looks good and I like the rechargable concept, but I am pretty sure that this will only last 1 year based on the estimates of 3 months pero charge.

Love this scale. I was afraid to step on it the first time. I thought it might break because of how thin it is. But it's fine. Very accurate. Easy to see the numbers. Has battery icon so you can see when the battery gets low. Don't even need to bend down to turn it on. Just step on it and it turns on. Turns off after a few seconds of no use. Very happy with this scale.
