I chose these to serve chips in for a party, but I misjudged the size. They weren't quite big enough for my bigger (like 40 people) party. Maybe for something smaller like pistachios or crackers or something (but I wasn't serving those that day.) For a smaller serving dish though, they are really nice. They are also fantastic for for a big dinner-size salad. I don't have bowls this size so I can think of lots of ways I can use them to serve or to eat out of. They don't have a rim, so nothing like soup would really be right in these and the glass would be hot to touch. I like that they are clear glass, so no matter what dishes I am using on the table, they can match and not look out of place or anything.One of mine came with a little chip right out of the box. It isn't very noticeable, but it is still there. Unlike porous porcelain or china, you can still use it, but it bugs me. I did take a star for getting a chipped one, not for the bowls themselves (which I do like.)They aren't cut glass, but more like molded. There is no seam around the sides or anything like molds sometimes have. Also they are less fragile than a thin, but type of piece. Since they area glass, they would probably be okay in the dishwasher. I hand washed mine so far since they are new, but will probably use the dishwasher with mine over time. Overall, they are very pretty and functional. Make sure you check yours when you open the box to make sure you don't get a chipped one. Amazon will likely replace them if you catch it before your 30 days are up!

Perfect for salads, dips, etc. we entertain a lot and have made good use out of these bowls.

These are slightly larger than a cereal bowl and smaller than a serving bowl. I’m obsessed with them, they’re beautiful. Clear glass, thick walls.

These bowls are ADORABLE! I envisioned having friends over our house and using these bowls for dessert. The material amazing and the quality is great. The fluting is also so cute!! 10/10 recommend these! Super aesthetic and look great with any color kitchen.
