Bock's Best, Vol. 3: 25 Outstanding Christmas Piano Arrangements

Not the Christmas songs I had expected, and definitely not in the settings I like. However, they are challenging and I might just need that to sharpen my skills. Will definitely practice and see what I can use before buying another Christmas song book.

This is a collection of short arrangements of well-known carols. They are suitable for an offertory. If you string 2 or 3 together you have a prelude. They are not difficult, and are typical of Fred Bock's other arrangements, which are a mixture of traditional music with contemporary touches..

Each one of these pieces is something I'll ble proud to play at Christmas time. Good quality. No corn.

A thoroughly enjoyable collection of familiar Christmas music; challenging enough to be playable, with some interesting chords, but still maintaining the true melody. Bock collections are always great!

Not spiral-bound, as all my other volumes are. Smaller than other volumes. But it is Fred Bock, so I'm sure it will be good.

This is such a nice book for Christmas. The arrangements do not take much work which is good for the busy season !

Disappointing. I don't know if I'll ever use one of these arrangements.
