Q: Can this product be washed in a laundry machine?

I believe it is recommended that it’s not machine washable. I would spot clean it or hand wash the book only. The felt pieces are not one piece of felt and would separate if hand washed.

Q: Does this book have little pieces that are detached (can get lost)?

There are parts of this book that are completely detachable. Therefore, we recommend using the book for children from three years old. At the same time, one of the skills that the book helps to develop in a child is the ability to put the pieces in the right places. For this purpose, the book has a wardrobe, a refrigerator and a pocket with a zipper. Thank you for your interest!

Q: Customers’ experience: Is this too basic for a 4.5yo?

Our Quiet book is designed for children from 3 years old to 6-7 years old and we hope that your 4.5 years old child will be fascinated with it for a long time. The book has 10 pages filled with interesting activities and they are composed at various levels of difficulty. So, for example, a toddler at 3 years old does a good job with Velcro items, but can’t always untie and tie laces on their own. And at 4.5, children will not only cope with the shoelaces, but with the help of our book, parents can teach then the numbers and shapes of objects and much more. My 4 year old nephew really liked playing with this book. He especially enjoyed the pages with clothes and a refrigerator - he liked to cook food and set the table. He also liked to unlatch an egg with a dragon, although it was not easy for him. Many thanks for your interest in our Quiet Book!
