I really like this shell! It feels smooth, thick, just nice to hold in the hands. Not flimsy like some thinner plastics may be. The color shift is really good too. It comes with all the pieces needed for the shell and plenty of extra screws.The first three pictures are what I had to trim and sand on the inside to get fit the Funnyplaying GBA sp ITA screen. Basically all the inner walls had to go entirely and had to sand away at an angle a little of the screw holes to have just enough to get the fit. It's rough looking, which is to be expected from my first screen mod as I changed shells from my original flame red, but it worked as shown by the last picture with everything together! I'm pretty pleased with myself! Just watch how tight the top screws are when putting it all back together as you can squeeze the corners of the ita screen leaving a little blob looking spot until you relive the pressure, but you can still finesse it tight enough to stay securely closed!!Would be lovely if future versions can consider a way to fit a wider variety screens or a little easier to potentially trim as needed! I made this work because I was determined to give it a try before I jumped to the shells provided by Funnyplaying, and I'm quite glad I did.

The quality is amazing for a reshell of this value! Nice glossy texture, beautiful shimmer on this particular color appears mostly blue until you hit a good angle with some light and you get a beautiful color shift to purple!Have plans to add other shells to my advanced and regular Gameboy will be getting another advanced SP to put into one of the clear shell options!Suggested to my friends as well super happy with my purchase.Update: I had an issue with installation and support via instagram was great! I appreciate their help and will continue to support by purchasing more products. 🙂

The media could not be loaded. Easy assembly, great quality feel to the shell. Installed a ips screen with the new shell and it was just drop in and reassemble. Will use again for the next sp build

KEEP YOUR OLD GAMEBOY SP HINGES. This does not come with hinges.Beautiful case, but I will say that the hinge caps were such a nightmare to put on and fit that I ended up having to use the old SP hinge caps and just sharpie them black.I don't know if anyone else has noticed something similar or if it's just how I installed the hinges, but the screen does not naturally rest at an angle like the old one. It's exactly parallel. Not a huge deal, but it's something I noticed.Regardless, this was pretty easy breezy to install, minus the hinge caps. Their online tutorial is super helpful.

The color shifts between blue and purple are so frickin sweet. And pretty easy to install as well! I followed their videos on YouTube to reshell two SPs now and both turned out great! 10/10

I enjoyed sitting down and putting this together, this shell was used to replace a recently destroyed one. The instructional video they link you to is incredibly helpful if you've never done this sort of thing before. As a heads up, be careful of how hard you turn the screws, too much torque could lead to cosmetic damage!

The media could not be loaded. Besides the IPS HISPEEDIDO v5 this is hand's down one of the best upgrades for an old GBA SP. I used a mixture of the original screws and the new ones. It was very easy to fit the IPS screen in and I didn't tun into any issues.

Originally delayed in shipping I ordered a second one to get it faster than waiting on the lost item. Both of them arrived same day. Decided to keep both because of how awesome they look. Bought with upgraded screen to really get GBA to look good and play well. Comes with new everything but hinges and screen.
