Naturesque Herbal Permanent Hair Coloring Shampoo (Black)

This hair color was purchased in an effort to find a product that both minimized the damage from previous brands of hair coloring kits I've tried in the past and from excessive amounts of chemicals. Naturesque fit the bill, as it conditioned my hair while coloring it and left it with a rich shade of brown to boot! It also has far fewer chemicals than most others on the market. The process is different from other hair colors in that it's applied in the shower rather than to dry hair. I had feared that the mix would be drippy, but it didn't budge at all! The mix even had a pleasant smell rather than harsh fumes. For those of us with stubborn greys, I really suggest leaving the mix on for at least 20 minutes (up to 30 minutes) to get the desired effect. I took my time in the shower while waiting and caught up on exfoliating, shaving my legs, and pumicing my heels. I was rewarded with beautiful hair color that was very natural looking. An excellent product!!

I bought this product because of all the wonderful reviews and I have to say it is not what I expected.When I got this, the packaging was all smooshed to begin with. Then when I looked at the directions, this is not a shampoo!It comes with a nice plastic mixing tray, no mixing tool though, plastic gloves to wear. It comes with 2 tubes that you have to mix together before use (the size of the tubes are smaller than the conditioner tubes I get with permanent hair color off the shelf).This is like 1950's hair dye. It is definitely not a shampoo that I could just "do up in the shower" like other reviews said. The stuff smells ungodly and I wouldn't want it on my body let alone on my hair.I threw it in the garbage and ordered Nice N Easy Non Permanent Hair Dye. At least it doesn't smell to high Heaven and I know what I'm getting.

I didn't think that this product was going to work, but it worked wonderfully! I have been using chemical hair colorants to dye my hair black for months, but I wanted to grow out the chemicals while keeping my hair black! I tried this, and it colored my roots very effectively. The only downfall is while I was mixing it, I thought I was smelling sewage in my bathroom. It freaked me out. It turned out to be the product. That was off-putting, but the smell doesn't stay in your hair at all.

save your money, it does not work

THIS HAIR DYE IS A GOD SEND... I HAVE A VERY SENSITIVE SCALP, AND SO WITH EVERY OTHER HAIR DYE I HAVE USED WHETHER IT BE AT THE SALON OR STORE BOUGHT, I HAVE HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION. THIS IS THE ONLY HAIR DYE THAT HAS NOT DONE THAT TO ME AND I'M ASSUMING IT'S BECAUSE THERE IS NO AMMONIA! IT'S SOOO EASY TO USE, AND IT LEAVES MY HAIR FEELING SUPER SOFT AND CONDITIONED.

I have tried many hair color products and this is by far the best! It works on wet hair and takes less than 10 minutes. Perfect for those with head full of grey hair and a busy life.

I've gotten more compliments on my hair after using this product then going to the salon -- and it only took me less then 10 minutes to do! I've used it twice so far, once as my salon visit and then about 5 weeks later to add some additional shine for a wedding I was attending. Wow! I'm seriously never going back to spending all that money at a hair dresser. So happy I gave this a try.

I just tried this product and loved it. It has no ammonia and I have a sensitive scalp, so most dyes burn and are really itchy. This was very gentle and the color is great!
