My brother and his family loves to host parties throughout the year and something he has grown very fond of is karaoke. He does not have a machine to play and sing along with as he said they take up too much space. Instead they wanted just a microphone system that they could use to project their voices and have some cool effects. I must admit that I was doubtful about this microphone however after I took it out of the box, I was able to use it right away. It comes with instructions but reading the instructions would just be an unneeded extra step. The microphone has a built-in speaker that is also bluetooth ready. I was able to pair this microphone in less than 5 minutes. You can also plug-in a headset if you do not want anyone to hear you singing. It also comes with a micro USB and audio cables and a bag for storage. I called my brother and told him all about the microphone, he got so excited that he's picking it up tomorrow.

great build quality and finish, works well
great build quality and black shinny finish looks very nice and well made. The unit came with full battery and i was able to connect to my phone flawlessly and have not had to charge it yet (5 hours of use)... Instructions are well written with colored illustrations and packaged nicely in a box with a carrying pouch.echo is actually quite good and speaker is loud as well, very good for live karaoke.However, if you want to use a headset to hear your voice instead of the build in speaker, you'll be disappointed... for some reason when connecting a headset via 3.5mm jack the sound is super tiny perhaps there is no amplification to the 3.5mm jack.. if you use build-in speaker you should be fine though.

Great microphone
This karoke microphone is extremely cool! We got it for my niece and she had a ball with it. It's easy to set up and seems very durable. Very happy with this purchase, would def get again.

Very poor amplification, your voice is heard more stronger than the amplification provided by this device.

Don't expect this to last long
My daughter really liked it for Christmas. The only problem is it lasted 3 weeks before it stopped working. Bummer. I knew it was a possibility based on reviews.
