Thundercats Original Belt Buckle (Brand New)

I knew this buckle was purrfect for me before it ever arrived. I feel like Lion-O is the yin to my yang. He is a child trapped in a man's body, I am a man trapped in a child's body, yet we are both destined for greatness!When I took it out of the package it was quite a bit larger than I expected. I put it on and someone immediately commented, "Compensating much?" I just smiled at their rhetorical question. There was no need to say, "of course," they knew the second they looked.After that, the buckle started to do what I hoped it would when I put it on. A lady looked down at my Eye of Thundera and said, "Thundercats?" This question, obviously not rhetorical, required only that I point to my buckle, smile, and say, "Hoooo!"She walked away a little flustered, but she'll be back. She acknowledged the power of the Eye, it will call her back. Snarf, snarf.

Solid construction, and a great look! Rating only 4 stars because the picture is a little deceiving. I had expected more of an oval shape buckle and the actual product is completely round. Not a big deal unless you have a bit of a gut (like me) and it tends to get uncomfortable when sitting.

I bought this for my husband who likes belts and is a fan. The price wasn't too much to take a gamble on it. We were both pleasantly surprised at its quality. It is a decently heavy piece, does not bend easily, and has a ball at the point where the buckle 'snaps' into the belt. Much better than ones with a square hook end thing. The red inlay is darker than pictures giving it a nice dark red look with the burnished metal. My hubby loves it and it doesn't scratch easily either. A nice belt buckle.

It's a wonderful large round (not oval) buckle perfect for making your own custom belt worthy of the Sword of Omens. The buckle is heavy and well crafted and the edges are clean. Very happy with it.

Kind pinches your tummy when you sit down... but I guess that's the problem of all belt buckles.

I just got this in the mail today, which was earlier than I was expecting, and I can't believe the quality! It's just as nice as the stuff they sell in Spencer's and other retail stores for a third of the price. The red in the background is beautiful and the symbol is very clear and crisp. I'd definitely recommend this product for fans of the Thundercats.

I thought from the picture it was red not blue. I would love to have a red one but I like the blue enough to be happy.

This is my second Thundercats buckle. The first had the cat's head painted in black and scratched easily. This one is much better. It also cost less.
