Mould KingToy Car Building Sets, 488 GTB with Acrylic Display Case for Adults, Speed Champions Sets for Adult and Kid 8 (329 Pieces)

Really like these sets from MouldKing. A good alternative to the Lego Speed Champions sets, and actually display well with those as well. I have all of the individual sets for the MouldKings, and my only real complaint is that if there is any damage to the box they are in, then the lid for the display case is destroyed. While not an absolutely terrible thing, these are nice display cases so it does suck a little that I have one that was completely destroyed, and one that is missing a couple chunks along the edges. If you get one with a box that has any corners that are crushed, it would probably behoove you to return it for one that isn't damaged, especially if you really want the case to be intact!Overall, though, I have 8 of these in total, and only the one doesn't have a lid (and one has a few pieces missing), so I definitely enjoyed assembling these with the little one. Almost kind of wish MouldKing would sell a cheap version of just the case so that I could put the Lego Speed Champions in them too.

As a 65 year old grandfather my two granddaughters and myself have been building legos for ten years. I have been building and collecting lego speed for some time. ( sorry to hear lego is discontinuing them) decided to try a Mold Kind kit to my surprise the pieces were as tight if not tighter than lego speed, there were two differences. 1 the direction book is smaller. 2 the windshield don’t seem as crystal clear as lego windshields. Mold King did not skimp on build quality or did not try to cut quality buy cutting part count. The clear plastic display box is another plus, I’m just wondering if lego has sold the molds to this company and are making no brand cars so they don’t have to pay a licensing fee. It’s all good the cars look fantastic. One last note, have to report later on how the decals hold up. Try one you won’t be disappointed have a great day. Renee & Jim W.

There are a few artists, past and alive, that I wish that I could invite to lunch, to discuss their techniques, their visions, how they see the world. Clearly the magnificent artists are the ones who discover “Ars Gratia Artis”, Art for the Love of Art. The designer of this model is one such individual. Pictures of the final model are a worthless gesture when trying the relate the pure fun of the build that this designer went for. At first, I wondered if the designer was insane or a genius. Beneath the skin, and the tiny manual are some unusual and enjoyable techniques that will have you wondering the same thing. My photos are without the stickers, since the car displays so well without any stickers, but after I finish my review, I will finish my model put the stickers on. I have said it before, and I will say it again, If LEGO offered a SPEED CHAMPION of the week set, or even of the month set, great minds like that ones at Mould King (They really need help with their branding) would have never have been discovered. My old loyalties are starting to be tested.Yes, see for yourself. If you’ve already built the entire 2022 lineup of LEGO Speed Champions, take heart! First set I ever bought besides Lego. I was very impressed with this set. Pieces hold tight, directions just like Lego. But book is smaller which is not good for my bad eyes. Lol. But overall loved putting together. Took me about 3 hours. Definitely recommend.

The nodel held together, looks great on display to my other lego/mega construx car collection. :)

so of relaxing time with this build and it looks great.this was so much fun to build. Instructions were easy to follow and all the bags are numbered.

Love this little Lego car for my son. Easy to follow instructions and the display case is an added bonus
