Winnicott (Fontana Modern Masters)

Once upon a time I did a Montessori Early Years' training course. I am not sure why I never heard the name Donald Winnicott while I was there. I am grateful for this introductory book on him and his work. It's very well written, engaging and paints a sympathetic portrait of a worthy child psychiatrist/analyst/pediatrician. I imagine that this would be welcome reading for all parents, present or future, anyone who works with children or adults wanting to have some insight into their childhoods. Loved it.

Engrossing and so cleverly written account of Winnicott ideas and life. The book works as a strong bond making tool between the most fundamental of psychoanalytical theory and W's ground breaking work.
