I am a home school parent of 10+ years. I am passionate about teaching the actual American history, reading original documents, reading Zinn, etc. We do several units on Native Americans every year. We’ve been to countless small museums owned by Native Americans. We’ve hiked sections of the Cherokee Trail of Tears. We collect Native American artifacts and value lessons we’ve learned from studies of the history of the culture. The purchase you inquire about was for my son who has a particular fondness for Chief Sitting Bull and wanted to share his passion with family when he presented a report about famous Native Americans.
