Great replacement part!
This part was pretty easy for me to install. I’m mechanically inclined but it isn’t necessary to be. Just take your time and check you tube before replacing it. It works perfectly.

Worked as expected.
Product worked perfectly, but I did have to be sure to tighten everything down well. At first the toilet was leaking internally and I thought it might be a product problem. Turns out that I simply needed to reseat everything and be sure to tighten properly.

Bottom line, if I need another one, I will purchase from this vendor again.
When the flapper valve literally broke after 15 years (The top collar which is a stop broke off) I had to replace it. This product was a proper fit, and it is working correctly. The only beef that I have is not with the product, but with the manufacturer, Mansfield. With a Mansfield toilet, you have to remove the tank in order to replace the flapper valve. That isn’t a problem with this product per se. But rather the Mansfield design. However, if or when I need to replace any of the other units in my home, I will definitely purchase from this vendor again.

easy to install. Fill tank needs to be removed to install
I just installed this today as my toilet was running pretty regularly after it was flushed. Sometimes jiggling the handle and letting a little water out made it stop (until you used the toilet again)... One thing to note, I don't think that I even needed the whole unit/kit that I purchased here. I think I just needed the red rubber gasket on the bottom - which, by the way, can be taken off without removing the whole tank. I hadn't done this before so I removed everything and inspected it to make sure seals, etc were OK (20 year old house). The gasket naturally sits upward but over time it can sag allowing water to seep down to the toilet bowl. I cleaned my tank first with toilet cleaner a week or so ago thinking there was scaling or residue from my well water. I cleaned the gaskets too and wiped it all down afterwards. Didn't seem to help so I think fatigue set in on the gasket and it just lost its rigidity. If your toilet is leaking water to the bowl, try the gasket only method first. No need to remove tank, just slide the old one out after removing the top piece (screwed on) and the suction/overflow piece. After that, make sure the gasket is pointed/flipped more in the upward position on the piece of where it sits. Good luck!

Exact replacement for Mansfield
Except for the "trumpet" color being black vs. white, this appears to be the exact product that Mansfield use in my model 160 toilet. The threads on the top of my original tower broke off, so the cap wouldn't stay in place. the cap stops the rise of the trumpet and holds the bowl fill tube, so its function is important. I used a cheap strap wrench to remove the threaded ring on the underside of the tank and to tighten the new ring. All parts are good quality. It would have been nice if this hardware was 10% to 15% less expensive. I bought somebody's "return" item to get a price reduction. I have never been disappointed with Amazon's "used-like new" items.

Make sure your refill hose is long enough
I paired this with Mansfield 630-0204 2" SmartFasten Tank to Bowl Kit. Fit as expected and worked on my Mansfield toliet, but I had a fluidmaster fill valve where I cut the tube to fit the old system exactly, but it the refill tube was too short for this flush valve, I ended up having to use a bendable straw to extend the length into the hole.
