I prefer honey based paints like Mgraham. This is a great way to try out Sennelier water colors. I prefer limited palette for color harmony in paintings and this pack of color selection is very versatile.

Excellent value! A primary triad plus an earthy orange, and a deep, dark cool gray. I was able to paint a nice range of colors and value with this set. The included tin is good quality as well.I have and use a variety of artist paint--Daniel Smith, DaVinci, and M Graham are my favorites. This was my first time trying Sennelier, and I was not disappointed. The colors are clear and luminous. Although not as pigmented in the initial tea wash as my other brands, they layer to intense color while still maintaining asheer, luminous quality. Gorgeous with pen and ink. Their Payne's gray is the best I've used.

The paints are amazing for glazing and solid washes, but they I wouldn't recommend them to beginners. The color selection is doesn't provide mixes deemed for a beginner. Mixes can become muddy easy too, if you're in portraiture I would recommend.

Sennelier are up there with M. Graham as my favorite paints. Personally, I like the honey paints; I find them easier to spread. The lemon yellow has stayed very gooey, so I cannot take it out in Houston humidity, but for painting indoors, these are great. The Chinese Orange and Ultramarine Deep are my favorites in the set.

Everything you need to mix just about all the colors you need. Nice way to try watercolors that use honey as the vehicle as a binder in paint. These paints play well with other artist grade paint, I have places some of these in my warm and cool primary palettes.

I love them, the price is amazing for the quality of these paints. It took a while for them to arrive but it was due to my country's problems, still they arrived in perfect condition and they're wonderful!

This box is a little bigger than I expected from the photo. Nice packaging and a great value for testing against other brands. Because they have honey in them, they don’t dry as fast and have a little shinier finish.

Just what I needed

I decided to upgrade my watercolour paints. Glad I did. These are great.

This brand is my favorite so far. The colours are great, true to description and value for money in this kit. They reactivate quickly and good or bad they remain sticky rather than dry entirely on the pallette.I'm very happy with them.

Liked the feel of this paint the colours can be as bright as you want, good coverage, fun to experiment with. Would definitely buy more colours.

Eine große Box für so kleine Farbtuben. Die Farben sind aber klasse. Für Anfänger vielleicht etwas überfordernd, da man für diese Zusammenstellung der Farben etwas Erfahrung braucht. Anfänger könnten frustriert sein. Für Fortgeschrittenere, die viel Spaß beim Mischen und Ausprobieren haben, ist das Set prima. Man kann sehr erdige, natürlich wirkende Mischungen erzielen. Ich liebe es.
