Confer Plastics 6000X Heavy Duty Above Ground in-Pool Swimming Ladder for Decks Adjustable from 42IN to 56IN HIGH

Built deck for our above ground pool and bought this ladder to go with it. VERY HAPPY with this! Looks so nice and is sturdy, nice landing area and good size steps. Color is beautiful. We did not use the fins for the back side of the ladder since we don’t have any little kids. Assembly was relatively easy, all screws & parts are there. We did put sand in the legs to weight it, as suggested in directions. That part can be a little tricky, so we put the ladder in the water first and one held it up and funneled sand while the other handed small containers of sand up. Worked great! Extremely happy with this!

I recently purchased this ladder April 2024. I am a person who believes in reviews. I always check the reviews before I ordered anything. I wanted something that did not take up so much space and did not have to be weighted down. This new ladder fits the bill! I am so happy I found it. I love it! It is the best buy! It takes up very little space and seems very well made. It is sturdy . It sits nicely on the floor of our pool without any problems. We just added water to the rails and it holds it down just fine. My granddaughter installed it for me and did not have any trouble putting it together. I would recommend this ladder to Family and Friends. Such a good buy!

Arrived in time! I received the ladder today and it looks to be stronger than I had originally expected and surprisingly easy to assemble. Yes, there are some rough places but nothing a little sandpaper and a few swipes across them and they are gone. Used a drill to drill 2 holes in each ladder rung to let more water in for stability. I also bought the pad for the bottom and under the top to place a barrier on the pool top rail.Decided not to use the barrier that comes with it for a couple of reasons. 1) even though it is a above ground pool we have a auto vacuum system and do not want it to get hung up on. 2) we do not have small children to worry about getting caught and stuck between ladder and pool side.Will return for update.6/23/2018To date this has been the best ladder we could have purchased!! We no longer use the pad for under the ladder as it came with foam pads which we put on the bottom rung of the ladder to prevent rubbing. The pad never stayed in place.Although the prior ladder had actual steps it took up too much room in our 15’ round pool as well as stuff seemed collect behind it, this ladder let’s the water flow and it is easy to vacuum around. My husband is 250lbs and has no issue with stability when getting in or out.... our dogs love the ladder it has a great top base step and the others are wide enough and stable enough for them to feel confident and comfortable to use to get out of the pool without any human assistance.So it gets 4🐾 rating as well

I am always hesitant to buy stuff offline, especially a pool ladder, however, after putting this thing together and putting it in the pool, I was super sold. I hope they keep selling this ladder for years to come, because IF I need another, I'm buying confer brand stuff from now on. it was super easy to put together, just followed the directions. I did add more screws to the arms attaching the ladder together, just to secure it better. Where the arms that attach to your deck come up and slide into the ladder, I drilled all the way through and put a 1/4 20 bolt threw with a lock nut to secure it even more. i like stuff to be super tough to break. I'm 226 and the steps dont give and if ya dont wanna add sand to the ladder, then itll rise up a little in the pool, however you dont need a ladder pad underneath it because it comes with pads ya secure onto the ladder and the edges were super smooth too. I didnt worry about it cutting my liner at all, but hey it's your ladder, make it as secure as ya wanna. overall, great ladder and would definitely recommend it

This went together well. Like others, we filled the down tubes with pea gravel. That was simple and quick. It is sturdy enough. They were a little short on the quantity of the stainless steel screws, and like a lot of stainless steel, the screws are very soft and if you do not keep the screwdriver centered and perpendicular to the screw, it will strip out the Phillips head of the screw.We had an A-Frame ladder over the side of the pool previously, and like this arrangement much better.

We have a 18' round pool/ Intex/ 48" deep and 18 grandkids. Lots of activity all summer long and I was anxious to have a good ladder that we could attach to our dec and be safe for the kids and easy to use for us old folks. Before I purchased it I read all the other reviews I was a little concerned I might not be happy with it. But bought it anyway because the price was good. It was a little challenging to assemble it. Took a couple of hours. It was easy to attach to the deck. easy to fill with water. It did not float away or float in the water... it was not unstable. It is the perfect height for a 48" depth- goes right to the bottom. That was what I was most happy with initially. It was super strong for all the use the kids put it through. Doesn't wobble. It is easy to take up out of the pool and yes - you do have to empty the water - but it just pours out the top - no big deal. I highly recommend this ladder. I will probably get anther one for the other side of the pool next year.
