Okay, I just bought this (from an Asian grocery—go to an Asian grocery for specialty ingredients; it’s so much cheaper than Amazon) so I don’t actually know how it is, but I just want to clarify: MSG IS FINE. The FDA, Mayo Clinic, and National Institute of Health all recognize it as safe.MSG is found in maltodextrin, ultra-pasteurized products, corn starch, rice syrup, vinegar, reduced fat milk...do you have sensitivity to any of these foods? It naturally occurs in cheese and tomatoes. It’s described as “hydrolized protein” or “natural flavors” on food packaging.“Chinese restaurant syndrome” aka sensitivity to MSG was first described in *1968*. That’s over half a century ago. Since then, there have been extensive studies conducted by multiple governments and health associations, all concluding the ingredient is “generally safe to eat”. I mean, obviously you shouldn’t eat an entire bag of Ajinomoto seasoning in one sitting, but one packet of seasoning diluted in 2 quarts of water is not going to kill you.This product very clearly describes it contains MSG on the ingredients list and on the Amazon listing. If you still have problems with MSG and are surprised this product contains it, that’s on you for not reading the ingredients list.

Great for some dishes but not for others. Ways to use product not explained very well in English. Could show amounts and other uses in English

It’s a great product. For everyone unaware of the the product name for msg it’s Ajinomoto! So dashinomoto kind of states in its name soup stock with Ajinomoto

Loaded with MSG, which I was unaware of and the cost for shipping made it not worth the purchase at all. Probably should have known better because of the characters on the package, but these days, MSG should be noted in the details.
