I do have the original Light Seers card deck and book. I do feel that the book is essential to understanding the authors perspective and unique messages intended for each card. Although, the original cards are quite thick and stiff and not so easy to shuffle. I like the smaller size, thinner card stock and finish of these smaller decks that come from China because they fit easier in my hand and the finish allows for easy shuffling. In my comparison, the colors in this deck are identical to the originals. With all of that being said, i do recommend supporting the author by buying her original deck and book set, then buying your chinese knockoff deck if you also want the smaller sized cards.

The quality of the cards is cheap. The deck is smaller than a regular deck but that is stated in the description.As a beginners deck I thinks it's great for the price. The colors are beautiful though. I like it and wouldn't take them anywhere due to the quality of the paper and just use them at home when needed.

was excited. came before expect. grateful to own the deck. not glided edge at all. easy to read due to how the card actually speaks to me. NOT FOR BEGINNERS IN THE SENSE IT DOESN'T COME WITH THE GUIDE BOOK yet in purchase speaks of a qr code that i don't see haven't seen but googled and there are tonz of pdf'z out there to download or read online. ol'ready have knowledge of tarot so its why i say not to much for beginner's but YES TOTALLY the deck it self is colorful n' speaks to anyone especially if you are gifted in that sense. would recommend the deck. NOT PLAYIN CARD SIZE its a mini deck which they don't state-i was very disappointed to find out. was outta town when it was delivered so didn't know till much much much lata. again awesome deck-wouldn't had purchased had i known it wasn't playin card size or larger.

I love the illustrations of these cards but I wish they came with a book to describe what's going on. I wouldn't recommend using these if ur a "fresh off the boat reader" but I do still like them for the price

the images are very pretty and reflecting the "issue" in a readable way.the cards quality is not perfect, but with this low-price, it is good enough,as it is not expensive, i am free to shuffle and cut the cards and won't worry about curling the cards, it is good for daily use.
