Quality product, worth the price, delicious, flavorful, and authentic.
Amazing. Every part of this gift set is beautiful, authentic, and an amazing gift - especially for the price. The box is in beautiful luxurious red velvet, embossed in gold, and contains well packaged Italian Modena Balsamic Vinegar from the source.Used it in cooking with fresh berries and a salad and the depth of flavor is amazing. Very much a quality product. The package also contains information about the aging process, which makes Modena Balsamic Vinegar what it is known around the world for, flavor wise. Really unexpectedly a great gift for those you love and as a thank you for friends, family, and business colleagues and associates. I immediately plan to buy more to give as gifts this holiday season. There really is nothing like it on the market, and I'm glad this is available.

Transports you to Tuscany?... not as effectively as I remember
It is a nice gift set; however, the main cork on ours has a cut away which I thought was for air flow but it just leaks from there. With regards to the vinegar, it reminds me of the experience that we have had with Kona coffee beans. IMHO, Kona isn't expensive because it is the best coffee in the world. It is really quite subtle, has a punch but lacks the strong flavors that other quality coffee beans have. Kona is expensive because it can only be grown in small, remote sections of some of the most expensive real estate in the world. After trying this DOP Balsamic Vinegar, would have to say that the flavor is more subtle than other 25 year varieties that we get locally. It is very smooth and might remind you of an aged port dessert wine. However, on Salmon, Ice Cream, Strawberries or even Parmesan Reggiano - the flavor gets lost.

5 STAR BALSAMIC VINEGAR!
I am a huge fan of great balsamic vinegar. I have been to Italy and visited over 10 producers in the Modena area. I have amassed a collection of over 100 bottles that I enjoy with family and friends often. If you're going to buy balsamic... PLEASE make sure you are getting the true Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena! It MUST have those 4 words and be in a bottle shaped like the one above.Villa Ronzan is a GREAT choice! This particular bottle has been aged for 25 years, and the taste is incredible. Because it was aged mostly in cherry wood, the flavor is sweet (which I love) yet smooth... while at the same time exploding on your taste buds! It's everything a true balsamic should be! The packaging/box is really well done and gives this the appearance it deserves. This is a very special gift for people who can really enjoy the superior taste of artisan made aged balsamic vinegar. Molta Bella!!!!

First rate quality product!
This balsamic vinegar is everything the other reviews say it is, thick , smooth and sweet. Wonderful on a caprese salad and when I drizzled a very small amount on some vanilla ice cream it was fantastic, much better then I had hoped for. I was hesitant to buy this at first because of the price but now that I have been using it I know I made the right decision. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys quality.

SIMPLY THE BEST
After tasting the 12 year old version of aceto balsamico tradizionale of Modena, which is also really good. I tried this 25 year old. It's simply the best I have ever had. The flavor is flawless and it will stay with you for a long time. I can compare the experience of this bottle of balsamic vinegar as tasting a great bottle of wine such a Premier Grand Cru from Bordeaux. I own a business, and I am planning to purchase some of these gift sets to give to my best customers this holiday season. It's a wonderful gift idea, and it will certainly be appreciated by your business associates.

and this is easily the finest example I have ever tasted
I am a food writer with 45 years of enjoying balsamico, true balsamico tradizionale as well as the inexpensive salad grade stuff sold in grocery stores, and this is easily the finest example I have ever tasted. The acidity is almost unnoticeable as it plays in perfect harmony with the thick syrupy sweet liqueur-like ambrosia. In fact, one can drink it like a liqueur. I started to write that it is breathtaking, but stopped because other younger balsamics might take your breath while the acid in this one is sooooo delicate.
