For a very simple piece of kit, it fully achieves it's purpose. I've flown several times with my clubs since purchasing this and have had zero concerns for their safety sinceSolid build and no play in the button stops, so not worried that it's going to collapse while in-situIt's clearly done some work in protecting the contents of my bag, and the only thing I could critique is that the fabric from my travel case that rests on top of the plate has been worn pretty thin/damaged from it protecting from impacts, but better that than my driver shaft taking the brunt!if I change bag to another fabric one I will likely cover the top of the support rod with some foam tape to provide it a bit more cushioning. Or would but an updated version of this with that as a feature.All in, 10/10 purchase.

So far this has held up well. I had another brand where the plastic broke on first use. This is a look alike for the Stiff Arm brand name and it certainly does the job of protecting your driver and longer fairway sticks during transport. Easily adjusted for length. The top screws-off so if it did break, you could replace with a plywood disk held by a machine screw of proper thread/pitch.

Bought to protect clubs on trip to Portugal using new travel bag .worked well could do with being lighter

Having seen a number of bags come onto the conveyor belt and crash into the side wall top 1st on my last trip.. I thought it would sensible to seek some protection beyond that of my weekend wardrobe stuffed inside of the golf bag, to save paying for luggage.Although I still stuffed my clothes into my golf bag, I am comforted by the strength of this product protecting my clubs.When not it use it collapses down into a small bag that’s included.Safe to say most of the people on the trip now own one of these!

Purchased this item to protect my clubs for an overseas trip….Easy to put together and erect…Lightweight and sturdy and did the job it was intended for…( maybe the umbrella could be of metal Instead of plastic to make it even better!!!) ..Did what it said on the tin !!!

Very effective and good value for £££

I was nervous travelling with my clubs as bag handlers can be a bit heavy handed on occasion. This was strudy and strong and protected the club's. However it didn't help my terrible swing. 😕

Used as instructed , product head snapped off after outward journey- not good AVOID
