Great product great price.
I used these plugs and recepticals to make custom length cables. Very good quality.

Easy to use cord plug
These worked well on a 14 gauge extension cord with a very thick outer cover. The strain relief clamp had no problem the outer cover diameter. The wire terminal clamps inside are well designed and very strong. All in all, this is a very nice plug design.

Easier to use
I really liked the "just strip the end of the wire and insert then tighten screw" element of these plugs. Much easier than trying to wrap the bare wire around an impossibly short screw without dropping it while trying to tighten the screw. Will see how well they hold up during this Christmas season.

Well enough made.
I gave it 4 stars only because it's made in china. But, hard pressed these days finding anything like this that isn't. But, that said, they seem well enough made. Easy to install, and they made all my old worn out out door extensions cords work well again. Good deal for 5 sets, and much cheaper than replacing otherwise good cords with new cords.

Female end will not retain plugged in cord without ground pin
These cord ends actually work fairly well, with one considerable exception. It seems the ability to retain a plugged-in cord (for example a tool power cord) lies with that cord having a ground pin. With a two-prong plug (no ground pin), the plugged-in cord becomes disconnected very(!) easily. A standard 3-pin plug seems to stay connected fairly well.Would not buy again - unless every tool I own has been converted to 3-pin cord ends ;)
