Elite MontessoriSeed Puzzle

I don’t know why this puzzle doesn’t have a black border like the others in this botany series that are the same size. Otherwise it’s fine.

Came with some chipping. The wood is actually quite thick considering it’s an amazon purchase, so I’m guessing the type of wood used might not be durable enough. You might have to zoom in to see what I mean. The cotyledon (yellow) left half on the upper part is chipped. And the top part of the orange where it meets the purple (testa) is also chipped. It was like this straight out of the box and hasn’t been used yet so I don’t believe it will hold up with children once they actually start using it. We shall see. I may need to return this if it doesn’t hold up. There’s also no control sheet produced for this product anywhere. I intended on making my own anyway because I need it in Spanish but let me tell you, that finding the translations has proved to be challenging. So having the English version control sheet would have saved me a lot of time and trouble when needing to translate to Spanish. I wish they produced an activity box like the one that this seller produces for the parts of a horse or the tree/flower/leaf version. Those have a box with lid, control sheets, and flashcards with labels. I feel like a seed should have one, given that all plants come from seeds. It’s a very important lesson. And can also be tied into the life cycle of the seed. Having a good quality puzzle with accompanying activity box and control sheets should be prioritized.
