I used this tripod with a go pro hero 3+ camera and it was just what I was looking for. Very lightweight so it is easy to carry around. I have a more heavy duty tripod for a video camera but this tripod is just right for go pros and filming sports training indoors. It doesn't take up much space. At first, I was worried about the height of the tripod fully extended because it doesn't get very tall, but with a go pro and a much wider sphere of coverage, it was perfect. Additionally, I inquired about the free gift mentioned in the description and it is an email book that you get. Amazon is supposed to send it after purchase, but I didn't get it yet and I contacted the seller and they immediately sent it to me. Great customer service. They reply almost instantaneously.

So I agree with other reviews re: flimsiness of construction. That being said, I am a bit of a hacker, I needed a tripod to film some videos at work, and this one was inexpensive and impressive in cost-for-value. I did have one of the clips break after about a month--I contacted customer service to see if they could send me a new one, and they sent a whole new tripod--talk about an exceptional customer experience! I would definitely buy it again!

Small and light, just what I need for backpacking. I love that it has separate tilt and pan controls! It is plenty sturdy enough for something other than a full sized digital SLR with a monster lens.... With a selfie stick, it will go over 6' tall which is almost overkill. My postal meter weighs it at only 12 OUNCES. Killer! Highly recommend.

Okay so I'm cheap and I wanted a cheap tripod. I bought this and received it fairly quickly. And it's okay. Nothing special, just basically worth the price and nothing more. If you want something sturdy and reliable just use your money on an actual heavy tripod. This thing wobbles and it's difficult to put my camera on the tripod without it tilted to the side. I mean I'm only putting 4 stars because of the price and it's not useless so I still use it from time to time.Overall: If you want good quality, spend the money on it. It's a good investment. If you're cheap like me, then sure go ahead and buy it but remember that it's not going to be the perfect tripod.

Bought this for the eclipse and really worked well with my Canon Powershot. Super light weight and compact. Good size hand grip and tension easy to set for slight angle movements. Legs have easy to use snap locks on each extension. Will use it for wildlife filming this fall. Was worried about quality, but is great little tripod for the price!

This is the cutest tripod. Very easy to unfold and place you whatever on it. It is very light weight and I just love it. It also has a bag to carry it in and it is very nice. I am sure anyone would like this tripod as I do.

Excellent product!! We love our new tripod; tested it out prior to a trip aboard. Love the different height settings and sturdiness. Very well made and super compact. A cinch to set up! It folds down to the length of about 14" (about the length of a ruler.) Honestly, one of the best products I've bought yet on Amazon. Thank you Dream Lifter!!
