Once you swap out the key, it works great. The buttons don't click and are very stiff, you want to push harder, don't, no need to do that, it works fine.

I just got a 2016 GMC Terrain. It did not come with a key fob, so I purchased this one. Initially, I called a locksmith to cut and program my key fob. I thought it would be too difficult. After he researched my vehicle info, he then informed me that it was self programmable and instructions can be found in my owners manual. I actually used instructions I found online. After he cut my fob, I went straight to my SUV and it took less than 60 seconds! Buttons and alarm all works! I just did this today, so if there any problems I will definitely let everyone know. So far, so good! 👍😊Update: As I said, I would be back to update. My fob no longer works. I thought it was the battery and went to change it. The clip to hold the battery is loose. I changed the battery anyway. Still nothing. Just taking it as a loss. Only $15 bucks. Buy at your own risk.

Nothing at all wrong with the product and the price is great. Changing the key blade was not as easy as their video makes it out to be. Remove the pin. Reinstall the pin. The pin is tiny. Not much to hold while doing this. Just have some small needle nosed pliers and you can get it done.

After paying 20.00 to have key cut he remote worked for less than 2 months. Replaced batteries. Will no longer accept programing. It's Dead.

The dealership wanted $160 for the key. I bought 2 of these and Chevrolet cut the key for free. Both keys work as they should
