The Real Deal
I was truly surprised to find this kind of professional quality on Amazon. In a sea of Chinese garbage, this reducer stands out. It's 24 gauge, UNION MADE IN USA. I couldn't ask for more! Thank you

East to Install
I had a very hard time finding this HVAC duct reducer in Home Depot and other hardware shops. This was exactly what we needed and it was very well made & sturdy. The price was very good too.

Worked very well
Used on dehumidifier to reduce the 10" collar to 8". Product performed well, thought the price was a little high though for easily assembled sheet metal

Great Way to Reduce
This Duct Reducer was perfect in every way and usable right out of the box. I used solid ducting throughout my install to reduce energy loss and keep the long term cost down. I used various metal products from Lowes and on line for a good looking final project. I metal foil taped all seams; used .5" sheet metal screws to affix components to Install a vertical PTAC unit. GE required the metal ducting for the HVAC unit. Sheet insulation was cut to size and applied to all ducting. The 10" take-off from the HVAC was reduced after 8 feet to maintain the required pressure for the run. My final reduction was two, six inch ducts with dampers to ceiling vents. If I had used flex pipe I would have to run the HVAC fan at a high speed to compensate for the energy lost in the ribbing. I can now use a lower fan speed to obtain the desired air flow which reduces energy cost and gives a quiter air flow. Good luck on your project.
